Sly, there is no question people making fun of you is rude, in bad taste, and the world would be a better place if people could stop making fun of others, especially if they have disabilities. However, none of us can change the world and there are always going to be people like that, at least in our lifetimes. :D

Meanwhile, the suggestions on getting proper fitting clothes are good ones. Having spent 20 years working with people with disabilities, one thing that is taught over and over, is to keep your clothes good fitting and neat. You can't change your autism, but you can change how you present to others, especially NTs who consider this important. Personal appearance and grooming, especially in a work environment are extremely important. I would take the advice to get pants that fit and belts that fit or can be free adjusted very seriously.

It happens to the best of us, sometimes you just have to laugh with them.

Maybe it's time to invest in new pants? Or at least a new belt, they aren't very expensive.

Problem is I could either gain weight or lose weight so then I wast $60 on pants and belt just to have to buy more.

What if you just got a new belt that would fit you at your heaviest size? That should stop your pants falling down, and if you do lose weight you can just make more holes in the belt so it fits appropriately.

That's true. I used to just punch new holes in my belts (belt stretching/body shrinking), but the last belt I bought has holes all the way around.

They also have "seatbelt" style ones without any holes...I don't know what they're called right now, but maybe you know what I mean

Yes what I’d like to get is a good ratching belt that’s reinforced. But I have to get it online and i dont know what size to order.
Also I need to stop buying things until the 6th

See the problem is I was wearing 44 waist and they don’t fit at all. So I went back to my 46 waist but they’re too loose. They don’t make 45 waist pants.
I may soon like few weeks need a 48 pants. Or if I can get back on track may need 44 or 42 waist. Money’s tight around holidays and in general so if I spend $60 this month then they don’t fit next money now I’ll have to buy more and wasted $60 :(
Now it seems I need to buy vitamins which are $20
I need soap and deodorant too which will be $40
So now I’m looking at $120 when I only have $40 extra money to cover it which means I’ll have to use my savings. Which is draining cause I’ve having to spend more then I make every month. It just seems everything is happening at once. I just had to get new tooth brushes and socks. I, feeling overwhelmed and it’s holidays so I need to get gifts. I’m contributing towards helping my grandma with lights as she falls so she can’t get up to hit the light swirch(certainly a good thing)
For now I can’t buy anything until the 6th so it’ll be on next months credit bill. I’m going put my cards up so I don’t get tempted to buy food. I’ve alre spent $40 of next months food money and it’s nit even that month yet :(

I don’t have a leather hole punch. Cutting a hole makes the belt tear and fail, I’ve done so few times in the past and they break at the new hole requiring tape which looks bad.

I need a belt like this
http://www.ratchetgunbelt.com/product-p ... lt-black-2
But there’s thenother problem most belt makers make belts for skinny people not fat people. Their site says it’ll be months before the up to 60” is in stock.
Similar my Walmart doesn’t stock pants or belts over 44”
I have to order my pants online. I only get two color choices over 42” tan and black.
I hate being fat. I was just getting to 42” waist :( then I got depressed again. I’m trying to get back on my diet but it’s hard especially around holidays.

I get it about the limited funds. I also think, my personal opinion, that money management and prioritizing what you need is one of those executive functions many of us have trouble with. I can understand why these issues can be frustrating.

Here is a belt, good to 48 inches and good for smaller, too. And cheap. I know the quality is good because we have ordered this product.

https://www.amazon.com/Hoanan-Military- ... .5%22+Wide

You probably can't afford Amazon prime, but I will help you order these if you want. It's probably also cheaper to purchase pants online. Also right now there are some ridiculous cheap sales going on.

When I did not have money for Christmas presents, I gave out "coupons" for chores, baking, babysitting, whatever seemed appropriate for the particular recipient. I hand made the coupons; these days you can probably print out something nicer with computer/printer.

I found this one that’s half the price of the other one https://www.koreessentials.com/collecti ... d-belt-set

My current belt is a cheap nylon belt and the teeth that grab the cut end slip.
Probably due to handling the weight of, flashlight, I’d badge, phone, gun and mags(when not working) I paid $10 for it and it worked good for a year. I like that this one can syinch tight with ratcheting.

We have amazon prime it’s $12.99 a month split 3 ways.
Maybe I should just cancel the gym membership and give up on that. It’s $10 a month I haven’t used for 5 months so that’s $50 wasted. Plus the $90($160) shoes and $25($50) bag I bought for it. Guess I can use the bag for other stuff, but I don’t wear shoes.

Christmas gifts is handled. I’d gotten extra $200 while back and out it aside, if not for holidays that’s money I could have used. I have $900 left of the extra money but I need to save that back for possible law compliance needs.

Overall I e been spending too much. Like if I stop at store I buy snacks I shouldn’t.or buy fast food :( part of why is it’s hard to get to store and buy regular groceries unless I manage a ride with family.

Just this month I bought with the 2,000 I got
Boots$ 120(saved $30 buying them now)
Airpods $144(something I’ve wanted so cord doesn’t tangle.)
Sisters stuff 383
Moms stuff 120
Yearly coins(pre planned for)$150
Ps+ for 2 years$80(saved 40)
New controller $40(saved $20)
Cat supplies for my kitten$30
Water filter replacement $20

Bunch of stuff I would had to do but came all at once due to Black Friday savings.
Thank god I got that $2000
It just is making me feel overwhelmed. I need to cut fast food and buying random things out so I’ll stop carrying my cards. Then I won’t be able to.

I spent $80 last month at Pizza Hut alone :(
I’ll be hungry and have no food so I order it and eat it for 2-3 days. But 20 for an order is a weeks food budget for me and thus I’m short rest of week.
One issue is I get rides home a lot lately so it’s nice I get home hour sooner. But I can’t go get more rice and stuff to go with my chicken.

I just have to try harder to keep to my diet, that’ll cut down in cost and wieght again.
I’ll just be hungry more.

Yeah personally I've found puncturing holes with scissors does the trick for my belts.

I understand that the holidays makes things more difficult for weight loss, but they don't last forever and things should get easier after they're over. What diet do you normally do for weight loss? I find weight loss is more about what you don't eat than what you do eat. if you can cut down your junk/empty calorie intake and only consume that kind of food/drink on special and social occasions, even with no extra exercise you'll notice small results within a week or two. Consuming more vitamin and nutrient-rich food will probably help your energy levels too, and if you believe you're vitamin D deficient, you can restructure your diet so you consume more foods and drinks that are rich with vitamin D.

At the end of the day, a lot of junk food consumption is just a result of it being a habit. If you can break the habit, you'll have a much easier time staying on track with your diet. Easier said than done, I know, but you can definitely do it with motivation and dedication.

I wear 42" pants myself, and I intend to bring that number down. For myself, I've decided my new year's resolution is going to be to almost completely cut sugary and fatty foods and drinks out of my diet until such a time that I am happy with how much body fat I have. I'm probably going to keep myself motivated through militant calorie counting, as that's what worked best for me when I lost 20kg in 2013 (with no exercise mind you). Whatever changes you make to your diet have to be somewhat sustainable though, or after losing weight you're prone to go back to your old way of eating and put it back on again.

If you don't like your weight, it's something you can definitely change. It may not be easy but if you can stay motivated and on track to achieve your goal, it'll be well worth it.

things sounds very expensive in your area – for some reason i always thought everything was cheap in the US? or are you going for very high quality (or quantity)? like $40 in soap and deodorant, on other hand the gym sounds really cheap.

i also spend more than i should with snacks. it helped me to save money when i didn't had a card, so i would need to go to the bank whenever i wanted to get money, so i could stick to a budget but it was very impractical.

It's hard work getting back out of those bad food habits, you feel deprived. What worked well for me was thinking

of the money I didn't spent on food treats going not to sensible things but to my book collection. Next time you

want take away, think of the $80 spent at pizza Hut, that would have bought you some nice coins.

I'm very sorry that you had to experience that. Those people are inconsiderate and downright mean. Especially since they're grown-ups. You would expect such a rude behavior from first graders who weren't raised properly, but not from adults in a working environment. You should forgive them and show them that you're the better person. :) Good luck with your weight journey and everything! I'm confident that you'll get back to your ideal weight eventually.

I get Mitchell’s wool fat soap
3 for $25 it’s from uk so probably cheaper there
Image
Deodorant is $5ish

The soap is natural and helps my skin, so I find it worth the price. 1 bar last me month or 2

Perhaps though my phone can charge my card too with Apple Pay, Walmart doesn’t accept it though. I’m trying to get back in track though. Other issue is I need to spend $100 a month on my card to cover the charges my sister has and can’t pay.

Hah! They make Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap just up the road from me. I used to use their shaving soap... but now I've got a scratchy beard. Amazing old fashioned type of stuff and leaves your skin as soft as a baby's bum.

I also have their shave soap, it’s what got me into their bath soap. I don’t use the Shave soap much though it’s a lot more work to load then any of my other Shave soaps.
It smells nice though and does work good when loaded right.

I tried a few bath soaps before settling on theirs.
