If any Tory seeks to sell the NHS to Trump, they would be threatening the sovereignty of the UK.

It's not a case of selling the whole thing but since the NHS has already been taken a long way down the privatisation route I should imagine it's more to do with selling chunks of it off to American business and that will certainly be a lot easier now we are leaving the EU.

Boris Johnson by the way is now jetting off to Mustique for a little break which shows exactly where his bread is buttered,
there's not many more privileged holiday destinations on the planet. He'll be lolling around with the mega-wealthy while the poor of Stoke-on-Trent and Grimsby and such other places as he somehow conned into voting for him shiver their way through another Christmas they can't afford, piling up the debt and looking forward to the departing foreigners making their way to the exit thereby leading to an even deeper crisis in the already under-staffed NHS.

I used to live in England and there was a boy in my class whose mother died of breast cancer waiting for care from the NHS. The NHS is notorious for their wait lists. They also almost killed my mother twice thanks to incompetence. Trump is powerful but I find it hard to believe that one person can get rid of the NHS, especially an American.
