Do what you can to organize yourself within your limits and be proud of the rest-of-the-mess!
Seriously!
I have come to understand that my piles are as organized as I will ever be. Actually, most of the time I have a fairly good idea which pile something might be in.

As far as the bills, I still struggle with keeping them all in one place where I can remember to pay them on time.
I got one of those yellow bins from a hardware store. The kind you see filled with screws, nails, etc.
My bills fit in there just fine, along with my stamps, address labels and checkbook.
The trouble comes when I get home with my arms full of stuff and I start dumping things where they don't belong.
The bills sometimes get lost in piles of magazines, newspapers, etc.

I have also finally started paying bills online. This is actually pretty good for me because I get those email notices and can pay right then-and-there. Helps that I have a credit card, and a bank that I can bank online with.

Well, a life of crime certainly isn't out of the scope of abilities of someone with ADD. Supposedly there's LOTS of the same type of people in prisons.

BUT,

I wouldn't recommend it. Besides, you're libel to get shot by a store clerk or the cops. YOU WILL get caught eventually, so the money you make won't make up for the years you'll spend in prison.

Then again, perhaps you were just venting...

Hang in there, things can get better. You have access to more support and information that a lot of folks used to have... the internet... take advantage of this opportunity.
