1) I don't get bugged to go outside all the time
2) It's a lot easier warming yourself up when you're freezing than it is to cool yourself down when you're boiling, and there's no sweating to set off my sensory problems either

I adore the blankets of snow, the interesting weather and the usual lack of people, particularly the morning after New Year's Eve.

I like winter...because the punks are all inside, doing their homework for high school.

Hmm, let's see.....I like winter because....um....uh.....oh - it's easier to sleep at night when it's colder.
Then again, it's cooler on spring and autumn nights too.

So there is not one thing I like about winter. I hate snow, I hate ice, I hate frost, I hate sleet, I hate the nights getting dark at 4 o'clock in the afternoon...... there isn't much more depressing than that thought!

Everything about summer fills me with happiness. Oh I wish I lived in India!

Extreme cold weather reduces the outdoor summer parties and cars driving by my house all the time. It gets peaceful and quiet.

I get to curl up under my comfy warm blanket. Love it.

I like winter because I can control my temperature, I won't be forced to go outside "because you should", the warm clothes/blankets I have are soft to touch, there's rarely any blindingly bright sun (in Irish winter), town is quieter as less people are out and about, I get to have lots of nice hot drinks/food, it's easier for me to get friends to come to my house to hang out instead of going all the way to the pubs and clubs as my place is so near to college.

What I don't like is the madness of Christmas. I hate having to meet loads of family members who barely know me and having to try be happy and smiley around my family in spite of the crap they get up to like bullying me if I ever mention my Asperger's to other people, I hate trying to figure out who to give cards or presents to, trying to avoid the multitudes of invitations to go out, not knowing how soon I can get away... argh!

This is my first winter ever ive lived in jamaica all my life where its a steady 85 or so most of the year but we moved to Florida in April and i just experienced the most ridiculously hot summer ever and we will be moving to New York next month in time to experience the winter. My body temperature is a bit higher than normal so I sweat even when most people aren't, really looking forward to the change now.

I like fall and winter. Nice days and no bugs bugging me.

I hated this winter because my touch sensitivity was so high that felt uncomfortable to wear pants and sweatshirts! I am with no sweatshirt and with a blanked on my shoulders right now! Thanks God the summer is coming now. I live in the southern hemisphere!

In the winter I really miss butterflies and moths. All I see everywhere is leaves, mud, wet grass, frost, and (worse of all) snow. In the spring and summer I see beautiful flowers, fresh grass, trees with leaves on, butterflies fluttering around your garden.... OK, the wasps are annoying, but I don't let them spoil my summer! I'd rather see wasps than snow! I'll rather get stung by a wasp than slip over on a patch of ice and break my hip.

How can anyone love winter better than summer? At the moment it's September, and the thought of winter coming gives me the shudders. (Last winter we had non-stop cold weather, and everybody got sick of it in the end)

When I drink a pint of hot chocolate it appears more justified.

The cold weather gives me an excuse to stay indoors more, get to wear jeans more often, feel less sick (hot weather and humidity make me feel bad ) and hot chocolates

No-one else sees the beauty. Winter helps me to escape all that hate and sadness and desperation that surrounds me.
