My dad just got rid of my dogs

That doesn't sound right of your dad at all. My dad can be anal but I know he'd never do that to my cats in fact he's grown fond of them.

Was it one mistake made or had it been happening a lot with your dogs escaping?

Fred, are you sure it was for the best? Couldn't she go see her cats where they lived now? Or soemthing?

well i also have cats and i still have 1 dog who is a purebred mutt named Peanut ( short for Peanut Butter & Jelly ) and he is an evil nut case :alien:

It was better to make a clean break.
We got her a boa constricter that she was not fond of after watching it eat mice. I explained to her that cats eat mice too but it made no difference. The boa has since escaped and now lives (i think) in the wall under the sink in the guest bathroom. Im looking into getting her a Cornish Rex which is a hairless cat that has far less pet dander. They are however very expensive.
