I'm probably getting hospitalized.

Zen Mistress, I really liked your post about the importance of the brain being allowed the chance to heal with respect. Brilliant.

Brittany I hope it all goes well for you. Teen years and early adulthood are the hardest because things are just so confusing and one doesn't really have much life experiences. Once you cross that threshold though, its quite liberating. Hang in there! :)

Brittany, I hope they treat you right; I think I know how you feel because one of the reasons why I was depressed in the first place was feeling repressed, oppressed and suppressed and stigmatized, and what do they do when you're depressed? They repress, oppress and suppress and stigmatize you more. They understood how I felt, I think, though. I went without a fuss, anyway. Good luck, anyway. :)

Oh, Brittany!

That's sad to hear!

You always seem quite friendly, and like such a wonderful person!

Honestly, let me tell you, my mouth dropped open every time I heard that you have been depressed. The reason being, you've got interests that keep you occupied when you feel this way.

To tell you the truth, this was an intermittent problem of mine when I got angry with my mother. I just couldn't handle my mother!

Also, it's not your choice of whether you go to the hospital or not? What a shame! At least you've got psychiatrists around you that are pretty nice!

As I said before, I could not believe one bit that you have been depressed! You are great, but it's not good to assume something!

Here's hoping you don't get a chance to spin the "Wheel of Misfortune" and see the real game show, with my namesake!

Thanks. :)

It's not my choice if I go to hospital or not. Since I am under 18, I could be placed in hospital if my mother wants me committed.

I don't think I will be going anymore though, so it's quite good news. My mother has said in the past that she would not commit me to the hospital, so hopefully if it is mentioned in tomorrows meeting, she will say that she will take me home. I might not even need to be committed. I still haven't had my evaluation since my breakdown on Friday and since i'm still alive and kicking, it's a fairly good sign I think.
