Honestly, these guys were morons for trying that. They're leaving themselves open for unemployment. ANY customer who didn't find it to be amusing could have ratted them out. For all you know, those employees might have gotten complaints after you left.

It would've been funny though to steal something to get back at them...But that's my opinion
that happened to me in SF where my car got locked in a parking garage and I had to spend the night on the streets.
