I felt that way when I started my job because it was in an industry I knew nothing about. Since it was a new technology that few people know how to do it gave me the opportunity to go all out with it. My hyper-focused aspie brain kicked into gear and I left the others in the dust. You will do fine.

Consider your job as a way to get food and to fund your future dream ;). You don't need to excel it but just do what you are asked for and make sure to work on your real dream after work and during weekends. Besides, that job can be a good practice for concentration ;)...

hey guys thanks for the support!

it wasn't that bad, although I did almost cry from overload during lunch break and didn't want to go back... but I decided to go back after all and had my first two small successes that I got patted on the back for, and as much as I hate being patted on the back it kinda made me feel better :p might not be such a fail after all.

although I did manage to do something useful only after the two people who are in the same office room as me left :( they are pretty quiet, I don't know if it was their presence that distracted me or just the overload of new information... hope it was the latter...
