Is it possible for cats to be junkies? My stepdad gave my cat unhealthy wet food at their house and now she won't stop meowing even though she has a full bowl of regular food and fresh water etc. All her needs are met and she won't shut up. :(
I love her so much and I don't like being unable to meet her needs.

The wet food is like crack cocaine to a cat.
You may have to wean her off slowly.
Mix a small amout in with her regular food and slowly decrease the dose.

Good advice from Raleigh up there ^

you could also try giving her extra food with her regular food ( which I assume is dry food ) like a starter , some raw chicken or cooked chicken. Maybe buy a few bags of trial dry food to see which one your cat likes - it could be a taste thing

Yeah, I'll try this.
She doesn't like healthy stuff. I guess none of us do but she's a cat so she gets about as much choice as a child because she doesn't know what's good for her.
But I'll try various sorts of dry foods and meats. Is it ok for her to eat regular meat? I mean poultry and fish as I feel iffy feeding something as small as a cat something as big as a pig.
