Hey, I've been sexually exploited, I've been beaten repeatedly and I've even been raped, myself. I'm as "damaged" as you are. And I told Emily all this because I felt like hiding it would hurt her. She still took me. Why? Because she loved me.

Emlion, whilst it wouldn't be wrong, it would be a little strange if you suddenly became Miss Bubbly-Bake-a-Cake... People know that. Stefan knows that too.

You need to be kind to yourself. Your body's healing and you may be still in shock. Try not to worry about some hypothetical future- just focus on staying comfortable at the moment.

Totally fair. I doubt anyone expects you to tbh. You should talk to Stefan because otherwise you can only push him away. Let him help you as much as he can. You've not changed. You've just been hurt. That shouldn't change how anyone feels about you, least of all him.

My heart is lighter to see you back here. Everything will be alright. You did the right thing and if the police there have any clue at all, that criminal will never be seen or heard from again.

Perhaps you should go to counseling. If you're not ready to talk to Stefan about anything, talking to an uninvolved party might help. Now that the legal stuff have been taken care of, what you have to do is look after you now. If you are not ready to talk or do anything else, don't. Take your time. However, I would not shut Stefan out either. Let him know that you appreciate him being patient with you and when your mind is calmer, you will have a talk with him. Write your thoughts down if that helps.

You are strong, Emma. Do you realize that being in a stable loving relationship has made you stronger? You said that you've gone through worse and endured it, but now you're afraid. That is to be expected because you have opened up your heart to him and no one can hurt you more than Stefan could. But something tells me he won't.

Do what feels right for you, sweet Emma. Everything else will fall into place.

I hope they catch chris before he does something even more extreme. You should contact the police and tell them that the next thing he could do is set fire to a neighbours house or kill you! This guy must be put in custody to protect people!
