wow. starbuline was one of my favorite members, she was so nice and so supportive, i cannot extend enough gratitude.
sorry, bad place for emoticons.
it must be so frightening to outlive your grandchild. she was too young to die, i didn't know her personally, only through this site, so i have no true right to cry for her death, i didn't know her well enough, but i find myself doing just that that,
(i hate getting religious, especially publically, but i need to right now)
I hope i get to meet her when i die.
rip starbuline,
aspies accross the world send love. my parents send some too.

I offer a rose for you,
A rose as young and radiant as the lost one.
In dreams, I stroll along the misty path that winds about your resting place,
Musing how precious your life is,
How precious every life is...
Petty heart feels difficulty accepting that those who hurt it are dearly loved by God,
But now that you're gone, I realize how invaluable life is, even that of those loathed by my heart
And I reckon, no matter what, the Holy One protects and advocates for life
Without judging the ones that take or harm it.
Rather, He'd take the judgement upon himself.
For the Eternal One is beyond life, death and time,
He is not bound to it as us mortals.
Does that mean that death is not as big a deal to Him as it is to us?
I cannot know but I wouldn't think so...
Why were you let to depart this world?
I cannot understand, I cannot understand...
I shed my tears for you
May you be as happy as a skylark where you are

She did not me directly, nor did we talk directly, but she was a very special person and it's just so sad to hear that she died.

Condolences to the family

RIP Sophie

May I kindly ask that others say Rest in Peace instead of RIP? RIP is just... too evocative. :(

Vale Sophie. You will be missed by all. I only just found out and it makes me so annoyed that society can cause such a tragedy. She meant a lot to alot of people, and my condolences go out to her best friend/s and family.

May your next life be more fulfilling than your last, Starbuline.

Sophie aka Starbuline was too young to leave this earth, and the person who loved her most isn't able to say how she feels about her in this forum because she can no longer contribute for reasons only some people know. Everyone over at her forum greatly appreciated her and her wit, and she is sorely missed by all there. What I don't get is how someone can blame the person who loved her most for her passing, when all they tried to do was help her. If only they could have written the obit the way they wanted, then we might get a better understanding of not only Sophie, but her impact on us. For a person so young and beautiful to have resorted to such a tragic act is a slight on society, as well as a slight on how she was treated by certain people in cyberspace.

Your body may now be at rest, but your spirit will live on forever.

A lot of people loved Sophie and I don't think there's a real way to measure wether one person loved her more than anyone else. I think it is extremely disrespectful to Sophie to use her tribute thread as an attempt to start a petty fight about the details of how much each of her friends loved her.

Not from what I've read and seen by the person concerned. All I will say is that if this person did everything they could to help, and that someone was then blamed for Sophie deciding to do what she did, then I think that is a bit unfair. Let's just all say that her passing was a tragedy, and that hopefully we can all learn something and keep a little bit of her with us.

BTW, no one is being disrespectful to Sophie at all in saying how much she was loved by the people who appreciated her. That is what a tribute and an obit is for.

I do agree on the fact that Sophie loved and was loved moreso to and by others (in that Soph kind of way), however there is also no denying that many people cared about her deeply. Arguing here is inappropriate, as would be making a specific thread, so PMing or using an IM would be a better place for that sort of thing, IMO.

Like last year, I'm making wooden replicas of Starbulines, a sword named after her that is in my story. I'll post up pics of them once I've finished them (they're quite simple).

Even though I don't know Starbuline , I'd like to pay my respects for her, I hope she is reincarnated into a new beautiful person who is happy, and who'll live, Starbuline, we all love you!

I'm very sorry to hear about Sophies passing. :( She seeemed like a great girl, someone who will definitely be missed on this forum. Her posts were always interesting to read. I was touched to hear Craig Nicholls dedication of 'Spaceship' to her at the recent Vines show.

Rest In Peace Starbuline.

Sorry to say I didn't know Starbuline very well and also didn't realise just how young she was. She was a few months younger than my 16 year old daughter and it's such a tragic waste of a life:(

TheChosenOne told me the news recently and it just seems so unbelievable.
