I've got my job back. That's beside the point, and that's not the reason that I'm posting in this thread, right now.

From Mid-September until Mid-October, I was wondering if could actually live my life, in the Spirit of The Mid-60s that suits me, so well. If I wouldn't slip, and start spiking my hair and wearing leather, again. Here I am, 7 months later, looking at the section of my bachelor pad walls, that I've already covered, with computer print-outs of The Kinks, in the 60s. I now know, that I'll be a Mod, for life. Life is good! 8)

Well done, you're living life as you want to live it.

I'm happier because my dog's eating and drinking well, and the cuts from her surgery haven't split open, though one was weeping.

Thank you, and I'm glad that your dog's starting to get better. :)

Rave, rave dance or rave party is a term first used in the 1980s to describe dance parties (often all-night events) with fast-paced electronic music and light shows. At these parties people dance to dance music played by DJs and occasionally live performers. The genres of electronic dance music played include house, trance, techno and jungle (often collectively referred to as "rave music"), with the accompaniment of laser light shows, projected images and artificial fog.

Someone told me my artwork and short stories were wonderful(No, they weren't saying it sarcastically, this was from one of the top writing and art profs at my college) They liked how my works were practically cliche free.

I have just confirmed that I did hear my lecturer correctly and that I will thus not get a grade of Fail Non Submit on my essay.

*thanks any gods that exists and are listening*

My new tuba, a small, 1860's horn I have named "Necromancer," has working valves! I stayed up almost all night soldering its various pieces together and trying to patch cracks. The hard work is finally starting to pay off.

I am about to go to a small women's college, and I've been networking with my classmates on Facebook. They are some of the coolest, smartest, most accepting young women I have ever had the honor to know, and I've never had such an easy time making friends. Many of these girls share my interests; there are aspies, steampunkers, poets, "spiritual explorers," feminists, amateur Holocaust scholars, and future medical professionals among their numbers. I've even had the opportunity to flirt with someone (with my mom's social guidance, of course).

After a long day of tense interaction with family members, it's fantastic to get on Facebook and remind myself of my social and academic future with these remarkable young women.

I remember back in the late 80's/early 90's raves were a very good thing in life!

I love my boyfriend. I love that I have someone to be 100% of my crazy self around and make my stupid jokes knowing he'll still laugh even though I have to explain them...

I love my best buddies who I can be a nutter around also.

I love those times I let the madness rip and enjoy it! And I love chocolate fondue and raspberries, and that I have all the possessions I could possibly want except for a house and a car :-)

Life can be s**t if we forget to rave.
