I got the written feedback for my composition folio from my university today. I gained a 5% improvement since last semester, and I was 2% away from getting a High Distinction.

The comments were:

Quote:
A substantial folio and impressive folio of work. Presentation for the score of Chamber needs to be improved- very difficult to read in this state. Entanglings is a particularly sensitive and evocative work. Sunlight Static perhaps could use some light and shade texturally.
Overall a well-crafted group of works.

It's good to have something to smile about.

^ That's great :)

For my rave? Well, I visited a renowned art museum/gallery nearby my lab & flat - I love to look at positively everything, but maybe especially the classic fairy tales exhibit - magical.

K, I got one.
An experiment I've been noodling on for a few weeks, I tried today, and it worked beautifully.
It will continue to work beautifully, CONSISTENTLY, which is what I was after.
The best part? Teh person who said initially that it was dumb, then said it was stupid and a waste of time, finally had to admit I'd come up with the best solution - not just a better solution, but the best solution.
Even better? This is what he said, "I'm sorry. The rig was borderline genius. I'm a jerk."
Rock on, mightypen!
