Your hospital is committing malpractice against you.

...Thank you , please excuse me if I'm repeating something I've written before , the hospital program took SSI/D payee status based on getting me to sign a paper without looking at it , then , gettingnamed payee without telling me that they were doing so until it was done ...Then , at one point when I ciomplained about their keeping my money , they said " If you make a formal complaint the government will just freeze and seize the stored money and you'll never see it again "... ...........

Wait a sec, the hospital took the SSI/SSDI payee status based on having you sign a paper without reading it?!

That's illegal, and they know it. They are not allowed to have anyone sign a document or paper without first having the person read everything over to make sure he/she understand everything it says.

What you just said sounds a lot like strong arming. First, they have you sign a legal document without first having you look everything over to verify that you understand everything on it. Then the moment you made a complaint, they turn around and give you the legal rhetoric which you said in your last post, "If you make a formal complaint the government will just freeze and seize the stored money and you'll never see it again".

Not only is the hospital committing malpractice on you, but it's also a possibility that they've committed a legal form of embezzlement on you as well. Not only that, but if this were to go to court, they can cover themselves by simply saying that you signed on the dotted line and read all the information on the document. Yes, unfortunately, you did sign on that line, however, you were not given a chance to read and know the legalities of this document.

*sigh* The bad news... and I know you don't want to hear this... is that they've put you into a trap they know you won't be able to escape from.

The thing is , they have been darting about and delaying to try to avoid fulfilling my request for the paperwork concerning this...

...This is , IIRC , my THIRD attempt to get this up , two other attempts ended not going up ...So...
This Saturday my backpack , bedroll , blankets , andplastic jugs for liquids were all STOLEN , which , yes , means a second set gone ! !! !! !! !! !!
As well , all the other things in the bp - including perscription drugs - went bye-bye . And my cell phone .
So , I slept " commando " all remaining of the weekend .

At least it didn't rain . As it had on the two nights previous to that ...
I have NO dough now , going by what the hospital was setting up , I could go for my money to-day...and could get much less than the 80 dollars or so that a straight replacement of the stolen things mentioned in paragraph two would cost ! ( I would rather dread going into that Army/Navy store for a THIRD time , in one week , too . )There's no point trying to get a replacement of the PDs , I'd just have to go tomorrow .

There was once a 15 year old girl, who thought the same way, and that was my thinking, 20 years ago, when I was in Grade 9, and my grades were at an all time low.

...I had been getting $90 a week (50 f*****g years old and I'm treated like a f*****g teenager) .
The program said that , I would now get two $45 checks a week - if I did things correctly regarding keeping something clean in my room , essentially .
If I wasn't so good I would only get one , $45 .
To pick up both of these checks , I would have to go at a specific time , on a specific day , and have them " meet " with me .
This involves a mile-ish bus ride - and turning over/planning the entire day around doing this , really ! !! !! !!
( Here's more - Much of my food comes from a charity feed , held from 12:00-1:30 in the afternoon . Especially at the end of the month , finishing off there can take you 'til past 2:00 .)

NOw , I have asked for copies of the paperwork relating to them getting themselves named as my payee .
They have spent many weeks delaying this , while claiming that they'll do it .
Recently , they'd been claiming that they'd give me the copies , but I had to do it in only one specific half hour at a certain time , and I had to " meet with them " before they could give me the papers .
Well , Monday I did just that - and the program did not give me the papers , or bring up whatever it was they were going to say to me before they were to give me the paperwork - ( I was hungry , and concentrating on my check , I didn't think to bring it up . THEY are the " authority figures " , I am not , it's THEIR obligation ! !! !! !! !! !! )

...I am fully homeless now , tho I managed to get a " homeless blankie " , and some St. Vincent De Pul improved clothes to-day...I'm not getting any foot care now...This situation with the program is a Venus Fly-Trap , which I have to escape ! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !!

...There's a financial , certainly , slight upturn now but it has some odd points to it .
Breifly , what might be called " a tiny windfall " is , apparently , going to come in , more or less you could call it an inheritance .
It could , even , be at the post office now .
To-day , incidentally , is July 3 , literally right before America's Fouth Of July Holiday , and things will be closed down until the 6th , Tuesday .
At the SSI/D " bum " level , other people who get that stright-out got their money already .
My " windfall " comes to two months' SSI/D checks extra . ( It's not from SSI/D , I was simply using that measurement . ) , Because of the way the program I am with has f****d over my normal SSI?D , I have not of it now , really .

...Okay , the amount is under $2000 dollars , it possibly could even come today , but I suppose , Tuesday/later , after 7/4 , is more likely ...
now , really , the most ABSOLUTELY DRAMATIC thing I could do with it is " hit the highway " , leaving SF...However , now that I'm officially known as an Aspie , don't I have an EXCUSE to not be Huck Finn , and " head out for the territory " ( besides , where I'dve most thought of going is New York...) I'd leave an unresolved situation with the ( As I said . ) program having taken my money , and still having it , I'd miss an appointment for my foot this coming Wednesday...One thing a freind of mine suggested was moving into the particular SRO he lives in...On a certain level , I don't want to commit myself to " another SRIO in the sh***y section of town " , which is , basically , less good than the one I left , which cost less , but I left , at least in part , the one before because of my situation with the program , definitely including what they did with my money !
This precise moment I'm not ultra-clean , ( I was less yesterday . ) , and , as far as impressing a " nicer " motel for a brief stay there , well...

...As far as getting an place , for " bum "-level stuff , people who get their " First of the month ": check actually AT the 1st of the month , and , too , actually GET said check , would have tended to get what commercially get-able rooms there are .
At the " nicer " level , it's July 4th , and methinks any rooms would tend to be taken - and , even if not , expensive

Well , he described it as $670 a month - I'd have enough for that - IF they had rooms , if they liked me , etc.
Since I'd have to pay cash - I'd have to wakl thru my " not nice " area with maybe $900-$1000 in my pocket ( NOTE: I have a charge card that I can put money in , but no bank account . Such places as this ( assumed ) $670 SRO are cash-only , believe me , at least at my level . ) .
With my fetish about " wanting to be clean - get new stuff " I'd have to - Get a whole bunch of things on a Saturday afternoon before moving in ?
Be a " loveable hobo " and sleep outside over the weekend , with 100s and 100s in my pocket literally or metaphorically , till the business week starts up on Tuesday ?
