...Was cut off...to pit up that first, then write the rest out, hoping that attention had been gotten, and I was forced to not finish it off by something then, so putting that part of it up first was making the best of being interrupted
Having spent so much time o exposing the process, I"'ll give myself a new post for the substance of it  ...

...Briefly, as of now, the going to a " standard " shelter I outlined above. It turns out this shelter is not a full-fledged shelter at all, just the latest manifestation of the temporary winter shelter that was here when I was here before (It was in a National Guard armory on top of a hill then.), not a set-up, possibly no storage at all.
You saw tbat I outlined above that I anticipated a " normal " shelter berth, less " deluxe " than the last one I was in in SF. Was. However, actually, SC has no shelters of this sort, just this seasonal one and the " special " ones up at the Homeless Services Center, that RCC I mentioned which I couldn't get into and others which don't concern me.
I was not asking for a new flat downtown or a house in the suburbs, was I? I was being a " good bum ". I " knew my place ". ( Not towards you, KK, but aimed at anyone inclined to get all Archie Bunker - your fellow Queenesian! -/AM talk radio at me.)
At this time, weirdly, I'll get 4 days in a cheap motel and the recommendation I go to that existing winter shelter on Tuesday. There's additional details I won't go into now. (I had also had gotten a shorter number of cheap motel days just before I came to this hospital in mid-January, I cut them short to come
here.)
With all the whiplashing that has gone on about this to-day, a basic "Uh-oh! " gas just occurred to me - the armory shelter was a mats on the ground one. If the present one is the same :( - I have mentioned how getting full up from the floor/ground post-CHF is often?? try always?? a major thing for me now  and I have been known at times to need to do so, yes? I know I've mentioned the problem. Though I anticipate and hope that my general strength will have improved for regular life post-this stay :? .........

If what you prefer isn't offered then you may need to look at moving again.

...Moving to another town, do you mean? I have an appointment with the eye doctor for later this month. Should I leave it behind and go over the mountain? Whatever my problems here are, if seems to me that as of right now, staying here to pursue the medical things is the thing to do - and the sort of " practical " thing it would seem that eople implore me to do. How much would going to still another town cost me, in money and effort?
And? Do spme people think that all I have to do is move to another town and something great will be waitnwaiting for me right there?
Does your comment of " what you prefer " meant to say " You'rYou're asking for too much , beggars can't be choisers "?

You hadn't even gotten to the shelter and complaining about how it's only seasonal and the beds are on the floor, so you have certain standards you seem to want but you won't be getting.

Go get your eyes looked at, do whatever you like. I said that if you want things the way YOU want them, a place with a semi-permanent berth for you where you can leave your things that has no curfew and no rules, you'll be having to look elsewhere.

...Where in th e flipping world did I at O wanted " no curfew a d no rules "? Please cite that to me. I was unhappy about the prospect if mats I. th e floor BECAUSE I AM HANDICAPPED in such a way that getting up from an on-the-floor position can be highly hard  and. has been known to lead, if I do not have something to grip on, me needing help to get off the floor :(! Even bending over onto the floor tends to lead to me asking for someone else to, please, pick it up! I AM THAT CRIPPLED. (Once I'm upright and walking I'm more able to go forward, though slowly, and can Lee going for a while - Though often to take brief, leaning up in something or my crutch, rests. Tech, tch. how dare I want to not be obligated to hump reverything with me 24-7! You seem to be equating my wanting my eyes examined with entering a phone booth stuff contest or something, a triviality that you'll wave your hand at me about, showing you'ryou'd rough toleration of it. Typing right now, when I look at the phonescreen, I cannot make out a single letter on the screen with my left eye, or really even that there is a keyboard image on the screen. I am reminded of some characters at the beginning of adaptations of Charles Dickens books! :x

Well, your crippled-ness isn't enough to get you into the shelter you wanted so you will have to make do with what is available or move. That is the reality of the situation. Your other choice is the streets or you can present again to the hospital. Those are the choices you have. My comment about "no curfew and no rules" is because you refuse to follow any rule that doesn't suit you. I gather from your many previous stays at other places that you wish to have free movement at all times.

Are you out of the hospital now? I know you have CHF and have had most of your toes amputated, but what handicap(s) do you have that make it hard to get up from the floor, or to pick things up? I have arthritis among other things, but I fight hard to maintain my physical independence. I didn’t always and used a walker or cane for a long time. I don’t use them now unless really tired and sore. I’ve worked hard at it and now teach exercise classes to other seniors. Being able to get up and down, even using assistive equipment like a crutch or cane is one of the most important life skills to maintain. I know you mentioned when you were really bloated with fluid retention, you needed help getting up from the toilet at times. It’s nice to be able to take care of yourself.

He’s heavy. That, itself, can present difficulties for people seeking to get up off the floor and walk.

I can see where ASS-P can experience considerable difficulty.

...Om, I was flabbergasted to find, looking back, that you reacted in a friendly manner when I outlined the original thought that I'd be in a standard shelter, but, later on, you practically become Archie Bunker!" You bum, Wadda you want, a suite at the Hyatt? " :(
I would maybe go deeper into pointing out that the original concept was hardly luxury, buf I think I, more or less anyway, made it clear above...or did I not Spell Out Absolutely Everything enough? :? It has been really painstaking (and.
the bright light may be aching my eyes ) to type on this, so not detailing now will get this up sooner...The switch to the cheap motel was sprung on me, in case you're angry about that. I will reference Miss Hannigan from ANNIE and Ben Carson and explain those maybe in a later post, I have been on this for an nourish or more! :P

...I think I have been very determined in trying to keep walking. As I said??, once I'm pretty determined trotting along. I believe there's been suggestion here and elsewhere that I get a wheelchair (I've mentioned/pondered it myself.). I think others with the same amount of physical distress as I might have tried hard to get one.

Yes, but being heavy is not the same as being crippled.

Especially if he had any of his big toes amputated, I would say there's a pretty good chance that he doesn't walk too well.

...Both.
I am in the cheap motel NIW. I paid for two extra days on.top of the four free, this will let me leave Thursdsay instead of Tuesday. Maybe Inc do a couple of " setting things up " then without having carry thing around with me, getting signed up for programs at the HTC and getting that letter so I can start the credit union account. I tell myself to check out the possibility if sleeping at the tolerated HL encampment that's at San Lorenzo Park now, Any number if Santa Cruz Sentinel stories covering it.
Leaving the hospital, they wouldn't keep a few thing even ultra-briefly, and I had to throw out some closes and most of my books. Do I hear applause and " WHOOPEE! " coming from above the 48th Paralell?
