It can be
I carry two wallets, battery to charge my phone, two flashlights, extra batteries, 2 lighters,hand sanitizer, lotion, knife, phone, tissue, and a pen.

When I carry my gun it’s all that plus the gun and two spare mags. All in or on my pants.

why don't you use a backpack?

No where to keep it at work and it’s impractical for daily use. It’s not too bad I don’t even notice just need a good belt. Maybe a quality belt while cost more will last longer and even out?
