My favorite café is moving to the lobby of a big tech accelerator office next door. Well, that stands to make me some money eventually but crowds are f*****g terrifying where I'm concerned.

I'm at the Marijuana store now. Our tenants' rights may be nonexistent but this state has some perks.

This is honestly like a more aimless pointless thread of death, nothing so negative as Sly mentioned however.

I spent 13 hours of my 3 day weekend on code. This old computer makes me not want a new computer. They don't make 'em like they used to.

I miss humans though. I hope I see all of them again, but for now I'm elsewhere.

No one expects me texting to ask if they want to hang out. It's unheard of unless we're talking about technology.

I mean, I know I've been working too hard for the future to look like this at all, but work is where I overspend my patience.

Sooner or later my life will improve; today I'm just working yet more.

Today work isn't really challenging, which is ironically uncomfortable for me anyway, but the real challenge is not to worry myself sick over nothing. I miss my friends but I have no idea what's going on with them such that we're too busy to see each other for months.

I should take a day off. I honestly have no idea what's going on in my life beyond this cube.

I just wish people treated me somewhat better than caffeine does.

I don't know if this will ever stop.

I find that people come and go in life, and that if you want to have people in your life you need to at least have a constant stream of new people to meet. For me, the best way to do that has been at various social hobbies. Have you considered picking something up, such as a martial art, board games, dungeons and dragons, etc?

I'm quasi-autistic. Usually I'm the one going.

I'm not talking about meeting new people through my hobbies, my hobby is too advanced for just about anyone. I can't overstate the value in my life of people who actually know me. That's not easy for them.

Everyone will probably tell me to shut up about my emotions & "move on", as if social life is a game. I'm sick of that. I'm not replacing anyone, nevmind the very real possibility that I'm completely disposable.

^^^you are NOT disposable. the terrible thing about today's amuuurica is too many people think too many others are disposable like yesterday's newspaper, when they lose their new charm, just toss it and replace with an endless supply of others, what middle class rubbishy thinking IMHO. sentient beings are NEVER disposable. we need more people talking about their emotions, and more people to listen and less people to shout down others in favor of themselves. end of rant.
