:( I remeber the name, I'm sure he replied to a few of my posts. Does anyone know what his chatroom name was if he had one?

It hurts me so much to hear this because I contemplate the same thing daily, I manage to keep hold of small threads of hope, which are wearing thinner by the day.

I can only imagine what your last hours must have felt like.

Goodbye Kingcrimson, I hope wherever you are now is a nicer place than this one.

*cries*

Someone who actually knew him and cared for him should be allowed to make a thread. Starbuline would have the right to since in a previous post it says she was his friend.

I agree, but I don't think she comes here so much anymore, and imagine she might be too upset right now.
I suppose, in a sense, people feel as if they know anyone in this community if they posted...as this is termed as a community and as such, if one of it's members dies, some or a large number will feel a certain degree of sadness.

He replied to some of my posts but he was not a really longtem member. He posted 40 times.

But still, I think it is a shock when anyone who has posted here is suddenly not there, and a mark of respect maybe to post condolences?

I did not know him at all; gwenevyn had to clue me in on what happened, after she mentioned it a couple of times and I pled ignorance...

Being sad about death has no place him my belief system... We may honor him by remembering him and celebrating his time in this life; but, beyond that, I am happy for him. His troubles in this life are all over, and I like to believe that he was finally able to find the peace that he apparently wasn't able to find in this life...

Good fortune (both to the passed, and the still living),

- Icarus follows the old ways...

Icarus_Falling has left us
TheMachine1 has left us
Badbye,Kingcrimson
Where's Godwit :?:
Please pm me,if there's any way you can enlighten me!
please
I'm so depressed I feel sick
to the stomach with despair
It's a beautifull sunny day, here on the Gold Coast.
but,there's nothing here for me
just empty apathetic...lonely misery
just an empty screen I'm filling up with anguish

Godwit hasn't posted since Sept.
He hasn't read a pm I sent Oct.7

I miss the guy
not knowing is the worst

I'm thinking about it myself
not that I ever would
do that,to me,to you,my family
it's just an indication like when I catch myself thinking "losers die alone"
but how glorius,to never be
if God is,or was,or will be,I think the Buddhists & the Taoists are the closest.
to never be,that's the fantasy

I'm going to go & park my car in an underground carpark in the shade
& listen to "The Algebraist" by Ian M Banks on a 20 disk audio cd
& chain-smoke
& wonder about the lives of NT passers-by
& look foward to getting drunk tonite, like I did last nite, every nite
& tomorrow & tomorrow & tomorrow

RIP KingCrimson.

Though I didn't know him that much, it's sad to hear about one of us committing suicide. What else have I missed here on WP?

Indeed, I have read a few of his posts and I will miss him, its an unfortunate thing the world is definatly not easy for us. What sometimes results is the 1 life one has, that limited time on Earth, is cut short because the world can be such a horrible place.

Did anyone at one point think that I left them at all? I'm just curious.

Icarus and TM1 are still here.

Aren't they???

Syz, what made you think they weren't, and do you mean you thought they were dead?

Icarus said he is quitting for a while on the I confess thread. TM1 had this thing that said 9099 would be his last post and I haven't seen him in a few days.

Interesting... Ironic... That Icarus was "mistaken" for dead. He... Clings to a shred of life still. And even now, he seeks to claw his way back to this place. Why, he does not know, but perhaps he will once again get close enough to here, close enough so that he may call out from a distance. He did not know there was an Away/Back thread when he left, before. That, once again, seems ironic... For Icarus seldom understands how to do things properly. But he... feels? sees? some shade of warmth in the notion that he was missed at all. In many ways, Icarus envies KingCrimson...

It is... funny that you mentioned that; for the thought had occured to me, though that is not why I'm back (I'm not sure why I'm back). I was kind of upset when you and GoatMan posted on the 666th page of the -10/+10 thread about goats; I was going to toss a funny anecdote involving goats on there, plus a little woo-hoo at being on the evil 666th page, but when I ran across things, there were already 15 posts, so mine would have gone on page 667.

But, if there's anything this past week has taught me, that's fate.

And once again I raise my glass in a toast of honor for KingCrimon; I really do wonder how he's doing now...
