Good idea stranger, I mean Ana!! !!

Being alone is one thing, being alone, by yourself sucks!

Mum won't let me get a job. Plus, if I get a job, I have to be around people. People really scare me...

my parents didn't want me having a job but eventually I said screw you, I don't want to have to do all sorts of chores for 10 measily dollars
people are scary but you need to get out into the world.
have a sit down with your mom and say the good things of having a job

Berserker, you must tell her that your grades will suffer if you DON't get a job, and if it isn't that, why won't she let you?

You are young, 16 is a tough age, you are in the middle of changing from a child to an adult. I have read this can be an especially difficult time for people with aspergers. Things will get better, your brain hasn't finished maturing yet.
Do you have any special interests? could you set yourself some small challenges for the holidays?

Grades = marks achieved in school work.

I hope you can feel better soon!

My special interest is video games. I can't get more though, as they're expensive and I can't get any money. As for grades... I don't go to school. The school doesn't want me.

Well, I'm in Australia but obviously the wrong state (which in Australia is a bit like being in a different country... actually, is New Zealand closer to Sydney than Adelaide?

In any case, since I'm married, there's no way I could meet up with a female I met online (sorry).

What sort of Video Games (rpg, platform, strategy etc..) and what platform???

PC Games aren't expensive, many are free - so long as you don't set your sights on specific titles.

I do have some free games burnt to DVD that I could send you if that will help - and if they're the right genre etc. or if you've got good bandwidth, I could send your URLs instead.

Also; how did you get out of school - did you leave in year 10?

You need to look at getting a job. There are plenty of non-people jobs - especially ones for the Aspie staples like computing.

If nothing else, try some volunteer stuff or work experience stuff to see how you handle it.

Don't let your mum suppress you or you might develop agrophobia or something and never be able to leave the house.

I like any games with violence...

The high school didn't want me, so mum took me out.

Thanks of your response. Do you have any other interests - or anything you would like to do if you could? Do you study from home?

You should take some community college courses or something, and get over your fear of people...and water.

Also, if living with your mom is so terrible you can always get your own place when you come of age.
