While it sounds fair, I don't think negativity is going to solve anything right now. I think the best course of action would be to show Em that you care, and support her. Maybe send her a nice PM?

You're never going to get rid of all the a**holes, and sending out negative energy never solves anything.

The nice thing about being in business for yourself is that you have the right to refuse service to anyone. I have refused repeat customers once or twice (I'm a computer repairman) because I hated them, because they were jerks while I was around. I remember reading an old Robert Kiyosaki book and "rich dad" talks about firing customers, I didn't understand it then but I understand it now. I wish we had real moderation here. TallyMan was the bully whacker, but he left.

It's really difficult to moderate forums. It's a thankless job. Once upon a time I was a "bully whacker" on a feminist forum and am abortion debate forum. I just got burnt out so I quit. It's beyond me why people just can't behave themselves.

I've experienced first hand a member making a snide comment when ive agreed with one of your posts before and thought, wow what an extremely small person.

Its doubly puzzling to me when the attacks are made against people i find generally well liked, and helpful to me personally (as you and em have been), its entirely irrational unless its motivated by (or probably more accurately because of) jealousy or envy, and if you let your life be ruled by either of those its really time to pull the pin, not harrass people.

I think I know who it is/was too. It's not the first time they've singled out someone like this. They even moved to harrassing/stalking them outside of WP.

Just a quick update: the police found Chris, only because he was in a car accident when he was drunk and his name was on the system or whatever. But he's arrested now, which is good I think.
