Paul, you have had another difficult day. It started off as usual well enough, you were off the booze all morning and you went for a walk for some exercise and had some juice. Then the physical tension and anxiety started and you started on the Guinness agin and now you have had about 10 cans. Stick in there mate and hope things will get better.

You carry so much anger for your father for expecting your mother to care for him and help him with all of his problems, then cutting her out of his life when she had problems of her own and needed him. Yet, you decided to treat me in the same way.

You hurt me and I feel like in some ways you misled me, but I have still tried many times to contact you and talk through things. I did this because I genuinely think many of the hurtful things you said were rooted in misunderstandings that we could have cleared up if there was willingness to communicate.

When past relationships have turned sour for you, you have tended to want to play the victim and break off contact, so I don't know why I had hoped for anything different. If that is going to be the case again, then I hope someday you get some clarity and understand what a waste it was for you to give up so soon, as well as how much pain you've caused.

This outcome is your choice; this is an outcome you have control over. If in time you decide it's not what you want, let's talk through it and try to move forward.

Regardless, I wish you well. I will always hold a place for you in my heart.

I had you pegged from the start as someone women should avoid.  All the gratuitous comments and empty flattery you directed toward them were red flags to me.  Now you have been caught out and sent away.  "Good Riddance," I say.  We are all better off without you.
