You have a nice face, Sly. And I was expecting this super obese guy, not a tall, teddy bear type. Sly, when you go on a ate with a girl, you don't talk about how depressing and miserable your life is, do you? I am not sure how often you are working. Is it full-time?

Prosopagnosia is the inability to "read faces." Faces are generic items to persons who have severe prosopagnosia. They might be not able to recognize even Abraham Lincoln (in extreme cases).

In actuality, many people have a varying inability to remember faces. I'm one of them. I tend to remember people in context (e.g., in uniform)--but, outside the immediate context, I might forget who they are. I'll know their face combined with the uniform--but without the uniform, I might not recognize the face.

ah. I usually can remember people by their face when up close, I can't remember names so good though.

And you don't seem particularly overweight.

It's ugly. I don't know the specifics of why.
everyone says I'm fat. I just have a belly. it has gotten worse it seems despite working super hard in hot weather at work. o.O

I'll have to assume not good. though I enjoyed myself. I felt she had fun. but she called it a night before dinner(which she previously suggested) so I'd assume she didn't like me in person. she said we should get together again and i could feel free to message here that night. I got busy with family stuff and then went to the fair next day, so didn't message til this morning but she hasn't replied. I would guess she isn't interested and the things she said were to be polite. she also hugged me before we parted o.O

whatever though. she didn't seem to like some things about me.

I'm glad that you had fun :)

It's possible that something came up during your date, and that's why she had to cancel dinner. Don't assume it's because she didn't like you; there may be other reasons. Anyways, give her a few days to respond...and if she doesn't, then that's okay. Just take this as a learning experience, and move on.

yeah. she said her leg was hurting from being bumped by car. she also seemed to disagree with my use of hand sanitizer after the mini golf. the place had it out next to the club return. stores put it out next to carts. I have some at home and carry some. I am germafobic, a lot less then i was as a kid though.

few people here who post most often say hit the gym  just makes me feel worse then women rejecting me for not being athletic and a twig.

no I don't tell strangers my problems. also I tend to be depressed mostly from being alone, so when I'm with someone I don't really feel depressed. If i had a gf and freinds, along with steady work. I imagine my life would be more bearable. I still have the money problems but nothing I can do about that.

I have the seasonal work at school book store which is 32 hours every 3 months. right now I am finishing my last week of a month long assestment.

and hopefully not bad sounding by why would you date an overweight guy?

If I like a guy and he threats me well I don't really care about his weight anymore unless he is really unhealthily fat (because it means health problems). People in my mother part of family are all overweight and I don't really get why they try so hard to lose weight although they are not so fat to be sick. It is their body build so that's OK, no need to use weird, damaging, ineffective diets in my opinion.

I am too slim myself (BMI of 17-19) and no matter what I do I cannot gain weight. Thats similar problem to being overweight. People are telling me all the time to eat more and gain some "body". But I just cannot do it. If I eat too much my stomach just hurts and that's the only effect. So I don't care anymore. Its my body build and they can say whatever they want.

You have a "regular guy" face. If you looked like the Hunchback of Notre Dame--then you'd be ugly.

She was hit by a car? Is she okay . . . that can lead to bloodclots. I hope she went to the doctor.

A little better. My potential housemate is visiting my apartment today. We'll see how that goes. The inspection has been rescheduled for tomorrow morning, but if the housemate idea works out then the inspection is moot because I won't be transferring.

My Mom continues to be in high spirits as her impending freedom from me approaches.

ah
It is my build which sucks cause I can never have that athletic twig build that so many women want. It's hard to accept how I am I constantly battle with what I want body wise and with others saying its bad. I seem to be gaining weight another 5 pounds this week. I work really hard at work and its tiring. so I thought I would lose weight. I eat like 1800 cals a day plus an energy drink . I guess I need to lower it, yet I hardly seem to have the energy to make it thru each day as is.

I am jealous of your not being able to gain weight. my old friend who is in the navy can eat and eat and eat and never gain weight, the navy put him on double rations during boot camp.

you're probably the type of woman I would 5 star then hide profile.

glad he treats you well.

scary
hideous
ugly
handsome
gorgeous

I am ugly but not hideous. though I feel like maybe I am sometimes.

roomate? pm about this when did this happen. hope it works out.

I feel my family would like to be rid of me too, though they would be homeless if so , wish I could win the lottery and go live alone til I end it. I think I would use the money to build a legacy before killing myself. then I would be remembered.

today was a sh***y day at work. and the above was the only good thought I had today.

You look like a "regular" Caucasian guy....that's all.

Probably a guy like Jimmy Durante would be considered "ugly." He had a big shnoz. He never wanted for the ladies, though.

Yet I can't. :'( I might trying spending the money I have put aside for dating on another gun or something. but then that part of me is like what if a girl comes along and now I have no money to take her on a date.

it's illogical thought. there is no girl coming. far more likely to be struck by lighting or find a job.

*hugs* Hey, man........ if you ever want to talk, I am here. I am in the same boat as you, man.

There's no such thing as just a bump involving a human and a moving vehicle. This could be a good reason to contact her - to check out how she's doing.

This Sunday . . . he had an ad looking for a place. Turns out he's a really sweet kid and a toker. 8)

Yeah, I can't stand it anymore. My mother swings from telling me what to do, to telling me how bad I make her life. It is good that we are parting now as we would ruin any relationship with each other if we stayed put.
Toxic environment!

well I would guess she probably blocked me and the stuff she said before parting were lies. I don't get the hug though. so random.

idk I've been bumped with cars and had no damage. had my toes rand over a few times too. depends on the speed.

I hope he is a good person and it works out. does your bedroom have a lock?

my mom threatens to throw me out when she gets mad. its really hurtful.

hugs.
