Goodbye my big, jolly friend. The jolly, gritty Punker with the Cockney accent. Youi will become something that will be more accepted in both society and your imediate family.
Self starvation is self destruction!! !
The Japanese have a concept called Kaisen which means incremental and progressive self improvement.
Make one small change to your lifestyle and habits at a time. This applies to personal finances as well.
A little at a time over a long time goes a long way!! !

Why does everyone keep thinking that one can simply acquire an eating disorder by deciding to acquire it???
Willfully starving yourself can be done by anyone with enough willpower but that doesn't make it an eating disorder.
This is like saying, "Oh, I think I shall have schizophrenia today!"

Good healthy eating goes a long way. So does genetics.
I've found I lose weight when I eat my own cooking. I make my meals rather simple since it's only for me. A lot of beans, split pea soups, crock pots and home made bread along with various meat dishes.
I have found my cooking to be less tasty than take out. Sometimes down right horrible. This leads me to eat less and lose weight. Plus it's usually healthy too.
I am still not thin. However I maintain my weight and sometimes I drop a few pounds hear and there.

Thanks, Cheerlessleader. That gets the point across I think.
I would like a bowl of anorexia, with a side of OCD with the bi-polar dressing. Is it low-fat?

I agree. However, once the diet or self starvation gets to a certain point, the lack of nutrients can mess up the mind to such a point that it does become an eating disorder in a true sense of a word. If someone who embarks on a strict diet is prone to being obsessive or has self destructive tendencies already, it is almost inevitable that they will end up with the full illness. My anorexia started as a diet at age 13. Another girl had decided to go on a diet and I decided I would do the same. It totally took over my thoughts for the next 5/6 years. I would not recommend it to anyone, it really does wreck your life and steal years you could have spent doing more useful things.
