To Goldfish, someone in my family has extreme salicylate sensitivity and has been very sick because of this, but the way you are trying to push the nutrition thingy on everyone, and you were doing it some years ago when I was here, too, and at the time seemed to me to be really obsessed with it, might be worth taking a look at. For example, people can become healed, even in some instances have a spontaneous remission from cancer, because of finding something very meaningful to do, becoming deeply engaged in that process and, as a result, feeling profound gratitude. This said, I do agree that some of the antidote for certain symptoms could involve nutrition. I am somewhat on the same tape with you about this, but what if a person is not able to take a certain kind of food/idea content from me? If I try to shove it into their mouth and it doesn't work but I keep doing it over and over, this would indicate something to me about myself. When I become over-identified with a particular personal interest, and this still can happen, I am,often unable to see certain things about myself.

For 6+ years I've shared here that I've found what causes & treats this ailment. Others choose not to believe it, explore it for themselves, act on it for themselves - IF their symptoms are caused by the same thing - then that's their choice. I am not literally in anyone's kitchen force feeding them healthy food.

What it indicates about Me is that I'm consistent & persistent in my honest attempt to help others with the exact same ailment as I have. For 6+ years I've been very transparent about how I'm living a night & day better life in terms of controlling ASD symptoms and being more socially connected than ever.

And now there's plenty more than just My personal experience. Now there are ASD medical studies that point to Exactly what I have been sharing here with y'all for 6+ years: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5408485/

Again, no one is forcing anyone to learn anything about themselves or treat their symptoms. But when people ask how they might be able to go about replicating My social success, I am 100% honest in my response that My relative social success has largely come from treating my symptoms in this way, increasing my functioning level, and enabling myself to interact with others at work & play the way that I do. And thus my number one recommendation to anyone on the spectrum is that they do some self exploring & research and see if they fall within the vast majority of us who's symptoms are rooted in intestinal dysbiosis, as they can in fact affect positive change upon that & live better lives through very simple natural medicines.

IF you were not of the camp that I am a liar, fraud, or hoax, THEN you might understand Why I persist in my same message 6 years on. Because it is true. Because it is important. Because it can help many people IF they are interested in helping themselves.

Goldfish21 i invested 100s in natural remedies to heal my sons gut lining
Bcuz prior to marriage i did a yr long course in nutrition n was aware of the theories n some proven research at that time related to the intestine
Nothing helped either me or him
Nothing
Did it reduce the additional problems he had like reflux? Somewhat but pharmaceutical meds helped more n were essentially life saving in ways I dont care to share here
Now my 2nd son has attained a diagnosis
We were told an unusual chromosomal abnormality we all have in common which XH doesnt is likely responsible fr this

Your tone in prior post really confirmed my initial suspicion that u were blaming ppl fr their own problems - u mentioned ‘anyone on the spectrum’ so i mention my son who does not have the ability to do most things u n i can

That's right. Anyone on the spectrum CAN explore this and try some/all of it to see if it helps Them. See? You did exactly that for your son. Maybe it cannot help him much, but at least you looked into it & tried some things. Many here refuse to do any sort of self exploration, learning, or try anything new to them to see if it can in fact alleviate their symptoms. Most here simply want to complain vs. make any attempt to do anything to help themselves. I'm not saying you are among them. I've also never ever said that what I do is sure to work for everyone on the spectrum, either.

You know what wd be more useful n less repugnant than presuming ppl suffer and don’t do that natural thing (seeking solutions?)
Assuming they have done all that n their resulting frustrations lead them to vent here on an anonymous forum which in itself is a form of still seeking solutions n answers frm others.

The essential piece that’s missing is that support n services are inaccessible or limited n are becoming reduced more n more fr the vulnerable n those who ars medically shown to need them
Eg just now in my province renowned a-hole Doug Ford cut all govt autism programs
Their policies were drafted prior to ‘consulting’ with medical experts n special needs professionals who made
Recommendations that contradicted their self-serving goals
So essentially the professionals were ornamental just to be able to lend legitimacy to the immorality of their actions
These are things that we should be looking at not blaming n turning on those who are dealing with the consequences of increasingly Nazi-minded leadership

Ok. So do what you can and petition your sh***y government not to be a**holes, then make sure to vote for someone who doesn't share Dog Food's values.

I'll continue to do what I can and share what I've learned and found has worked for me in the hopes that it can make profound differences in others' lives, too.

@ goldfish - I think your remarks on food are valid but maybe not each detail specifically for everybody. But I did, working slowly over the past year, go organic and I have no doubt that I feel better. But lately I have to buy whatever's cheap, so it's a bit of back & forth.

I joined a book club but could not go because of Montreal's weather - I'm off-balance and there's sheet ice out there. I haven't been out since autumn.

In the past, I have found it easy to make friends if I mirror them. It's something I developed in desperation to survive social occasions. What happens? My new 'friend', with whom I have nothing in common, invites me to yet another social occasion! So fake friend-making is not what you're talking about. And since I retired, there are no rules and I am only me, the real me. My idea of a good party would be sitting in candle-light whispering poetry to each other, with long silences in between. I just don't enjoy the mainstream; as a matter of fact, it's painful. And yet I am lonely.

I'd rather die than ever give in to my detractors. Doing so would mean going against my values and saying it was ok for them to call me a "loser".

The fact I see even gothic girls dating hip-hop thugs who punch them in the face and tell them gothic culture is "gay" makes me not want to live past my 31st birthday.

Please try not to believe that - most of my generation didn't want to live past 30, and that was in 1960s. Turns out it's okay when you get there.
