127. I know how immature I have been, despite not being able to control my emotions at times.
128. People have extended me helping hands, even if they only help a little.
129. Even if I know how ridiculous I my thinking is sometimes, there is always hope for me, I never let go of some hope.
130. It isn't the end of the world for me, just a small annoyance,
131. It's never too late to say "I'm sorry."

132. Because people who killed themselves and miraculously came back to life claimed they went to a horrible place, full of darkness, sadness and emptiness, much worster than the situation they were in before they tried to kill themselves.
133. Because people who killed themselves and came back to life thanked they could come back alive and get another chance. :D
134. Because only few people who killed themselves, could get back to life.
135. Because if you kill yourself and succeed, the last laugh WON'T be yours. :(
136. Because the last laugh CAN be yours while you still keep on living and trying! :D
137. Because we autists, learn to live every day and our performance improves with time. :)
138. Because many people -incluiding ourselves-, tend to overrate and amplify our own mistakes.
139. Because tomorrow will be another day.
140. Because there is always a special plan for all of us and you came here to discover it and fulfill it.
141. Because only you can fulfill the special plan designed for a person with your profile. None else.
142. Because every living being and person is unique, but autist people are so even more.
143. Because this world would not be so beautiful if just standard people lived on it.

144. It really is possible for me to build a new version of events in my head which makes sense with what I am going through.

145. That letter isn't as bad as I was told it would be.
146. They actually listed the complainant as a cc this time.
147. So much for being on double super secret probation suspended stay off campus if you don't have a class.

#148] because, despite the fact that OP will think I am crazy, he is fantastically inspirational.

#149] Because though falling deeply in love and getting your heart broken feels like the worst, it is only proof that you ARE capable of being able to love. [and love again] So many people are not able to love

#150] Because I need to be around to help my Autistic and disabled in other ways 20 year old son with so many things, including helping him make friends.

#151] Because I love to cruise and play in the sand.

#152] Because I want to see AutHaven inspiring hundreds of mini Autistic retreats around the world and the start of our intentional Autistic community come into being.

#153] Because no one will cook for my husband the way I do.

Khaoz posted this link on another thread: http://www.buddhas-teaching.com/10-things-to-remember-when-you-feel-lost-and-alone/. I think it's appropriate for this thread also, since feeling lost and alone can lead to thoughts of suicide.

Here's #4:

Quote:
It’s all about accepting the reality of what is.

You cannot find peace by avoiding life. Life spins with unexpected changes; so instead of avoiding it, take every change and experience as a challenge for growth. Either it will give you what you want or it will teach you what the next step is. And remember, finding peace in life does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, no challenges, and no hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things while remaining calm in your heart.

Honestly, life is too short to spend at war with yourself. The biggest disappointments in our lives are often the result of misplaced expectations. Letting go of needless expectations is your first step to happiness. Come from a mindset of peace and acceptance, and you can deal with almost anything and grow beyond it.

Since suicide might be considered the ultimate form of avoiding life. Here's the URL to Khaoz's post: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt256827.html

This thread is a wonderful idea!! thanks for all the insights

154 - because of the play I watched before yesterday. The play was about two abandoned elderly women talking about life and what is left of them in a light-hearted, funny and warm way. In one of the scenes this story one of them was saying caught my attention:
"then this just married girl discovered her husband was cheating her... with the baker guy! then she killed herself... Silly! It's been 15 years, the husband is still with the baker, nobody remembers her anymore, and she is dead..."

Off-topic but I cried so much in this play  I am this kind of person that gets very sensitive with art... well, actually I wonder how can other people not cry as much. My grandma even fell asleep  I was shocked and touched and drowning in tears and I looked to my side and grandma was sleeping!

155 - because in your attempt to kill yourself you might just make things worse :( my college is the cities' top place for suiciders because the buildings are very tall. In another case this girl jumped from the 4th floor and when she reached the floor she was still alive.. then she agonized for hours  and imagine even if she survived she would not be able to live independently anymore. There are many stories like that, and people regret it so much... this is very sad. don't try suicide.

156- because we have to thank and cherish every second, and live and learn, and grow, and love. Even if you are not feeling any of this right now you can't stop trusting someday you will feel it again and that compared to the whole and to time your troubles are really small and a simple dot that is far from lasting forever, And because while we are still alive we have to try to make as much difference as we can so that the world is a little better place when we die than if we hadn't been born (yes, I am a humanist).

157 - Not every interview I skip out on due to having trouble thinking about a girl will result in the interviewer calling my dad.

158 - Maybe all the problems I am having aren't because I miss someone, maybe it's because I really am scared of them, and I have trouble putting my foot down and saying how much it hurts to interact with them.

159 - Grades are not the end of the world, no matter what mine this semester are going to look like.

160 - Anyone who faults honesty isn't worth dealing with.

162. In stead of asking does she understand what she has done, I a an ask if I know what I have done, and focus on fixing that in stead. I have no excuse, I can and will get myself in trouble if I start slipping up again.

163. I still haven't attempted suicide.
164. I still haven't though of a good way to attempt suicide.
165. I will make sure I only have to attempt suicide once.

167. I won't give my abusers that satisfaction.
168. I don't want to hurt my family and friends.
169. The probability of a person committing suicide dramatically increases if someone close to them has done so, and I don't want to be responsible for that.
170. Because depression lies, so if it tells me I should die, I must actively resist that message.
171. Because I once got a message from a stranger saying something I said online stopped her from killing herself, and that motivated me to stay alive and maybe help save more precious lives.
