Yes and the problems just never end. I am suffering from severe asthma and my doctor is too busy because they lost two providers, and only just recently regained one. It may not be long until I join my mother in death.

Oh :( :( :( :( :( Can't you go to another doctor or something to get more providers? I hope you do and can get better. Having bad health is obviously not good at all.

That's not good, what's wrong with our health care system where you can't get help!
I hope things get better for you.

Well my doctor is considered to be one of the best, so it is a hard decision to get rid of them. I can't just change doctors temporarily either. There's no guarantee that the other pulmonary doctors have time to see me either, especially on a regular basis. So difficult. I got a bottle of Prednisone from urgent care that's keeping me *somewhat* stable, and I'll be getting more in five days, but the long term side effects of Prednisone are terrible so I don't know what's going to happen. I hope I get a lot better and don't have to take it for long.

We got my mother's ashes today. They are in a nice box, that's going to have a plaque put on it soon as it is made. It was a sad moment, knowing mom's coming back, just not in the way we'd like her to. The dog also went crazy again, my parent and I believe that she could smell mom. She wouldn't stop trying to jump up on the table to see the box and she was making weird noises again.

:( That doesn't seem good at all....Your case is important, isn't there any doctor who treats that as an urgency? I've just checked out the side effects....They are lot of side effects. All of this must be distressing to you. Being so ill isn't something to take lightly neither having the ashes... :(
I know what it's like. I hope you can get your treatment soon and leave the Predisnone, and that at least your health can get better. :( I hope you do get better.

Here is a list of some herbs,it can't hurt to try them, check for drug interactions. If it even gives you a small measure of relief it's worth trying. The plus is that you can grow some of these.

I remember my adopted moms funeral, having to do the viewing, the service, than the cemetery.I will be cremated also,it's less stress on the family.

Thanks for the well wishes. I am going to look into those herbal remedies some more. Today was rough, breathing hasn't been great but one of the other big problems is the increased heart rate from the meds, it makes life miserable, and I get tired right after taking them. I will probably go to the ER some time soon if it keeps acting up, maybe tomorrow, dunno. Really considering changing my pulmonary doctor unfortunately or fortunately... Just so unsure about what will happen.

On the plus side, I guess if there is one... I think my upper and/or lower respiratory infection is gone or almost gone. Maybe things will heal up and get better soon, or after some more Prednisone?

I've been having a very hard time lately. All I really want to do is spend all the time with my friends and family that I can. I have not felt good in a long time, and being with them makes this problem a little easier to deal with.

The doc finally did something. He's going to prescribe me some new meds and call me soon to check up on me... Going to tell him a lot. I am excited to try out some of the new meds, they are supposed to help quite a bit. Still going to get that Prednisone if he gives it to me or not, because the s**t works, and it could help reduce inflammation long term a lot faster...

You sound more positive, that's good.Your immune system had most likely crashed during all the stress and then having a respiratory infection. The flu is rampant here,I hand gel compulsively when I go to town.Spring is around the corner,I hope you feel better and can enjoy it.

In some ways I am more positive. The fact that my doc is actually trying to help me with my meds to better treat this problem, and is going to check up on me very soon, even if it is just by phone has helped my mood a bit.

I did get rejected for a new procedure, that bummed me the f**k out. Going to have to go at it with insurance and stuff to see if I can get approved now, that won't be fun, and there is no guarantee I will get approved...

My breathing is still not well or really much better but should be getting those meds tomorrow or the next day and getting a check up call around there as well. If those meds do not help or help much well then it is back to square one and a ton more suffering.

Going to a movie tomorrow, bringing hand sanitizer every where I go. I don't even open doors here without a tissue still. Putting Spring to the side for now, got to focus on living day to day, getting my asthma better, then I'll think about Spring.

I made a ginger tea awhile back. It dried me out, which is what it is supposed to do, but it was also supposed to thin the mucus which it did not do. It made me dry and the mucus thicker and harder to get out. Not doing that again. I drink about a gallon of water a day, chugging that s**t like a fish pretty much, but the ginger still dried me out too much. The cayenne I have tried too, it didn't do much, but I didn't try much either. Made that with some squeezed lemon juice hot water and sucked it through a straw.

I eat about a half lb-1lb of dark greens a day, usually raw in a smoothie with fruit, but sometimes steamed with things like garlic and onion. 1-2 cups of fruit as well. Can't grow anything inside right now, too paranoid of molds. There was a bit of white mold on the surface of the dirt on the kale plant pot, so I took that outside quite awhile ago. I have a great $200 HEPA filter that helps the allergies a lot and keeps the air overall much cleaner. Got a humidifier... Hypoallergenic pillows, cases, sheets, mattress covers, the works pretty much... Sooo yea.

Hoping the meds are going to work.

Had a early morning visit to the ER. Asthma acted up pretty badly... So they gave me a mad large shot of Solumedrol (Steroids baby!) Euphoria kickin' in. . .Baaaw... I feels good mayne! Like a normal person should. I know it probably won't last a long time but hey I feel good right now, so I'm gonna ride on this smooth groove, like a slip n slide... til it runs dry!

Oh and got a blood test + X-ray... NO SIGNS OF INFECTION. I guess that's pretty good.

The IV Roids worked great for many hours. Feeling less than great today though, but I got the meds finally. Going to start using them tonight. Got to stay positive.

There are some yoga poses that are suppose to help with breathing and pushing out phlegm.
There is a really good selection on YouTube.Start off slow if you try it.It also helps with stress.
Hope your medication helps.
