You probably don't. ASD can look rather narcissistic if you don't know what's going on under the hood. I'm positive that it's possible to have both, but most of the ASD "narcissism" is either the result of misunderstood social cues or needs that don't match with what the NT world expects.

For decades I have pointed out that we tend to be "egocentric" rather "egotistical".
This was before I discovered the concept of "Theory of mind" and the lack of it.
If you look at the definition, you can see how it reflects the lack of theory of mind associated with autism:
