8O OMG!
Thank you, this is something I've been struggling with for years and this will help explain to my support people. They seem to think all I need is an early night  But I guess you can't understand it without proper information.

Sadly, I have too many family members in my cramped apartment and my mom won't let me take pills because they are "addictive", but so is chocolate, and she lets me have that.

She just hates the word "disorder" and preffers the term "syndrome".

Hmm. Well, I can sleep a normal schedule and sleep well. I just normally won't, and I've never been a morning person. I think for me, I just like having the peace and quiet that comes from being up when everyone else is asleep. Right now I'm on a 2 AM to 10 AM schedule.

Hm, this could possibly be something I have. I have always had sleep problems similar to this, if anything I'd be somewhere from Mild to Moderate.

This does describe me, but I also know that my sleep issues stem from hypervigilence.

That seems to describe me as well. Of course my mum says it's just bad habits by me. I told my GP I lie in bed for hours awake so angry until I scream, and he couldn't understand why

8O Something weird happened. I was complaining to my doc about not being able to sleep properly and get up in the morning, and she suggested this. I have a referral to a sleep doctor and am trying to get hold of him so I can make an appointment.
