I was born with a cleft lip/pallet. So ontop of my aspergers I also have to struggle with this very noticeable physical birth defect. I get stares everywhere I go, and when people do actually have the courage to talk to me, they can tell right off that im odd. Thanks aspergers. I hate my life :/

I must be one in a million. So it might seem impossible for some of you to make any friends, just think how it might be for me..

So I'm not sure where you live but there might be financial aid available to help with this? Sorry, I'm not trying to be insensitive; I'm guessing if this were readily available you would have had the reconstruction already.

But if you've never looked into this, do start.

I mean its been worked on and is repaired, but there's scars and its just very noticable that something ain't right. Just today I had a coworker ask me about it and I told him the truth. I actually like when people ask me about it so I can tell them what it is all about, instead of them thinking something crazy.

Somedays are just better than others.. I just try not to look at it in the mirror

It must be hard for you. I promise things are never as bad as they seem. There are many wonderful people who look past physical deformities and will want to be a part of your life because they like who you are as a person. My best advice is to continue working on yourself in this way.
