I can usually write about these things in a clear way, but I'm struggling to focus and find the words just now. I know that anxiety affects many people and from my own experiences I know it can be pretty awful. If my sleep starts to go awry that can be a sign. It's a bit flakey at the moment and I want it to improve. My head is also quite talkative, in a negative way. Blah.

My anxiety has pretty much destroyed my sleep. I do fall asleep, but my dreams are extremely vivid and it's hard to wake up feeling rested. I really don't know what to do. All the measures I have taken has not seemed to work. But yes anxiety can be difficult thing to overcome.

Basement,

This may interest you.......my psychologist is trying to teach me "mindfulness" and "radical acceptance" techniques. It helps with script anxiety, lights, heat, noise, people, angry ferrets  and anything that makes you feel uncomfortable or anxious.

These are part of a brand of therapy called Dialectical behavioural Therapy(DBT)........it is infinitely hard and has taken me 2 years to partially be able to do it, but at least I have moments of peace now.

I also deal with anxiety everyday.......which does severely impact on sleep as well as other things.

Take good care and rest when you can........what do you do to relieve anxiety? I run around clapping my hands, knit, lie in a dark room, hug my teddy bear, wear my fav scarf and any number of completly eccentric things
