If yes than why? For me every Christmas since the College suspension I cry (I say everything's fine but most of my meltdowns/crying=thinking of the suspension issue) Sure overall it'll be 5 years February but the suspension made me realize I upset EVERYONE in my ENVIRONMENT and IMO life now is about learning and fixing your behavior not just saying it's no big deal go on etc. I don't want to cry and be upset but the lose of College has been so devastating to me I can't put it into words (I cried missing 1 day of class for a doctor how do you think I feel being KICKED OUT of College a PSYCHOLOGICAL WRECK!! !! !! !! !!)

For me, it's the summer that brings out the worst in me.

I was fine over Christmas, even as quiet as it was. NYE and watching the ball drop though, that's something that always gets to me and on a lot of levels.

This Christmas was pretty uneventful for me, I think all the hype about holidays are mostly for the romantics and the children.

Lol, I'm probably both of the later.

I used to get more depressed over Christmas season and I called it "The depressing time of the year." I was told lot of people get depressed during the holiday. Let's see why they would, they have all this shopping they need to do, all these cards they need to send out, worrying about if someone is going to like your gift or not, deciding on what to get people, working out your budget, going into debt because you feel obligated to buy presents, being unable to pay your rent and all your bills because you just had to blow out your budget on gifts, people thinking logically and not buying anything because they can't afford it and then they feel bad for not being able to do it. Families or friends getting upset with someone for not getting a gift from them even though that person couldn't afford it.

Yep if people would lose the shopping and the card greeting or quit caring what people think of them, it take so much stress of their backs and they be more happy during the season.

Christmas is always depressing for me. When I was younger, it was a lot happier. The Kay Jewelers commercials make me more sad.

I feel less depressed during the holidays in fact, because I have a lot more time to myself and not get so stimulated from the Uni environment.

I hate the holidays because I miss uni and study, and I also can't really even work on any of my creative projects because I have to work horrible horrible retail jobs to earn money. :( :(. Plus my home environment is stressful.

The holidays are always stressful and depressing for me as I have to spend the entire time around people who understand me the least (ie. my loving loving family).

I get more depressed during birthdays and i can't figure out why. Believe it or not its not just my birthday, but everyone's in my family. I have been in the hospital before for my own birthday, nice present! During the winter I am definitely more tired and feel like sleeping all day long.
