Is cognitive therapy just another word for talk therapy?
Basically. We all get little worksheets to see how we're doing and the way we view ourselves and then share it if we have enough time..

When you talked about this woman monologuing it made me think of people in AA who go on and on and on.
Yeah I use to go to AA meetings and run into that, at least it was free lol. Use to annoy me so much.

Maybe you could take the moderator aside and tell her you don't feel everyone in the group is getting equal time.
I probably could do that, it just makes me ill in the idea of having to confront people especially one on one. I'm not sure what to say or how to put it. That's part of my problem is not knowing how to navigate or respond in a setting without a written set of social rules. The guy there is kind of in lala land. He's also not an easy person to understand unless he's reiterating from a book or asking.
