I've mention AS to an old friend and my cousin and both have been very supportive giving me advice on social skills how to behave etc. my cousin even has alot of traits (while not Aspie) eye contact,"special interest" she rambled on and on about her family life, clumsiness. Her social skills seem fine though (husband/kids and unlike myself others she doesn't come off as rude) but she does have a few traits she believes she has something psychological what yet she doesn't know for sure. She has been A HUGE HELP! It's nice to find someone who understands me!! !!

Its good to have someone who understands. Remember that you have people who are supportive, considering your Mother.

IMO my mom doesn't seem that supportive but that's just my view. :-) My older sister is but I mention a problem to her she blabs to mom so she's kind of helpful just don't tell her you're upset/cry around her etc. it's OMG tell mom or if I'm out with older sis and cry when I get home OMG did you get into an argument with your sister?! Uh no. :-)

that's what I meant - that even though your mother isn't a very positive factor in your life there are other people

Thanks guys! I love my cousin has given great social skills advice (better than the therapists of "Just be yourself") since there are some behaviors I need to change. :-)
