All suffering I've been experiencing. It has to stop.

Somebody make it stop.

Everythings wrong.

I'm in a cage.

I've tried, and tried, and tried.

But I can't escape.

Quote:
Chinese Finger Trap
Chinese finger traps have existed for hundreds of years. These puzzles are made out of woven bamboo strips. The trap is shaped like a cylinder, and it traps your index fingers when you put them through the holes. Most people try to free their fingers by pulling outwards, but this only makes the trap pull tighter around your fingers and further trapping them. The purpose of the trap is to solve the puzzle of how to get your fingers free.

Freeing Yourself from a Chinese Finger Trap

The solution to this puzzle is to stop struggling. Instead of trying to pull your fingers out, push them further in. This will bunch the bamboo strips together, and the trap will loosen around your fingers. Now, you can slowly twist your fingers out.

Chinese Finger Trap as a Metaphor

The idea of how a Chinese finger trap works has turned into a widely used metaphor. Basically, if you try too hard to solve a problem, you won’t be able to—just as you won’t be able to get out of the finger trap if you struggle against it. When you relax, it finally lets you go. If you fight it, you are stuck. This is a metaphor for teaching a person to work towards a solution as opposed to working against the problem and making the problem worse.

Pain comes and pain goes. It will pass over, it always does, just wait.

I've waited for years. The pain just keeps getting worse. I'm even in a physiatric ward for depression and it's still getting worse.

But I imagine there are periods of peace right? It may not be much, but try and live for those moments. Unhappiness is a matter of perspective, perspective can only be changed slowly.

When you're playing video games, how about then? Isn't that fun?

But you did once, try and keep that thought in your mind. You can return to them, just wait. Keep the light at the end of the tunnel in your mind.

A lot of people have gone through depression, it doesn't last forever. Plus, the more severe it is, the less long it tends to last :).

There's no light.

I tried going back again, but I get no enjoyment from it. I don't get enjoyment from anything anymore.

I wish I was back in the time I did. At least that was something.

That's just a lull, a temporary deficit of the "happiness" neurotransmitter in your brain. Maybe you need a new source of entertainment, but that joy will come back.

Believe me, I've been there.

Sadly for us humans and all other life forms, it doesn't have to do anything.

Sorry for stating the obvious.

Nonetheless...I can relate....oh how I can ever relate.

Probably not to your specific problems....but suffering in general?....i'm the king of pain.

So I am....so was Schopenhauer, so were/are billions.

It might as well qualify as absolute truth by now.
