my girlfriend found out a day or so ago that her friend has lung cancer.
& she's been crying alot. & seeing her sad makes me sad too :( .
& with that kind of situation, there's nothing a person could say to put a bright side on things, or do to make things better, but at the same time i don't want to seem callous or uncaring by doing nothing or having no reaction. So i'm at a loss here.

like for example i don't even know the person, so it seems like it'd be kinda weird to send them a get-well-soon card. & just aside from that, a simple get-well-soon card just doesn't seem like it'd be weighty enough for something as serious as cancer. Or do they make cards for specifically terminal illness too? I'm not sure.

hmmmm.... :?

Hello Seanmw,

It's been a long time.

I'm sorry to hear about your sorrow but I would say that since you don't know your girlfriend's friend, the best would maybe be to take care of your girlfriend only so as she can be strong in turn for her friend who has that lung cancer.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. I'll pray for all of you, who are dealing with this.
