What is wrong with my neighbor?

I have discussed my neighbors on here before. One of them came into my home drunk, called me an "idiot" multiple times for thinking something I had brought up to her before and pushed me twice while I was sitting on the couch.

Since it has happened two months ago, I have ignored her, making it clear that I want nothing to do with her. She conitnues to wave at me when I drive down the street even though I never reciprocate the greeting. When she asks me something, I don't look at her and am short with her in a monotone voice..

This is really getting on my nerves. Do I have to yell in her face "Shut up!". The weirdo that she is, she sent me an e-mail with a brief message that I take life too seriously. Apparently, I should be ok with her disrespect. Her sister who lives next door to me doesn't show her a lot of respect, so tellilng herself not to take life seriously is how she deals with her abuse. She is a woman with plenty of flaws. Not too bright.


She obviously has a condescending attitude towards me by not respecting my wishes to stop talking to her.

Am I missing anything? What do I do?

I would continue ignoring her and just delete her emails when you get them.

Unless she's actively harrassing you, not much can really be done without getting you in trouble. If it escalates, there's always calling the cops.

The "couldn't even get knocked up so had to adopt" thing is...a bit uncalled for, though.

Having a strange person come into my hom would set me off like you would not believe. If the person had hit me it probably would mean the end of them ever coming into someone's home without permission again. Get a restraining order that will let her know where she stands with you. Theres no better way than to say stay away. If that does not work get baseball bat.

As others have said, call the cops and file a restraining order. Because it doesn't sound like she's going to stop harrassing you.

You should call the cops on her.

Well she's obviously made great efforts to make ammends with you, only she isn't doing it in the right way.

Because I often times do not "get" social things, if I'm upset with someone, I don't play the "you should figure out why" game. I flat out tell them why, as people need to do with me.

I suggest you just tell this lady what she did was unacceptable and rather than an apology from her, the only thing you've heard is her attempts at minimizing the effects of her actions on others to avoid taking responsibility, and you have chosen not to put up with such behavior.

I should make clear.

I live with my mother and aunt. She didn't exactly come into our home univited. Still uncalled for.

These NTs are a real piece of work. We say one thing wrong, and they never forgive. But we have to tolerate their crap.

It is just hypocritcal. Drives me bonkers.

Next time she says anything to you, tell her that what she did to you in your house was inexcusable, and blatently say to her face "I don't want anthing to do with you because of this"

Thugs like here need to be put in their place.

a**holes does not deserve any breathing room. Ignore the fact that she has children, once the police shows up, then maby her brain will start working. Make the police tell her CLEARLY what is at stake and it is not your fault if they show up again and drag her sorry ass to jail.

All she has to do is to leave you alone and that is a VERY small price to pay,

And how do you let yourself get kicked around like that in your own home? If some waste came into my house and accosted me I wouldn't call the cops, I'd literally throw them out my front door like uncle Phil throws Jazz in the Fresh Prince.
