I have both of these things, and I too get extremely angry and find my moods very unpredictable and difficult to control. I have found that breathing exercises and relaxation tapes are helpful, and talking to someone in a professional capacity makes me feel better too - just because it helps to articulate everything, even if it is difficult or painful.
I also recommend staying away from people who make anxiety, stress or anger worse. I have just blocked my father's e-mail because the every time I checked my in-box, the worry that he might have sent me something horrible was making me feel anxious and sick. I don't need that. I don't feel proud of blocking him, but I have to start looking after myself in this sense.
The therapist I see said this to me:
"When you feel a negative emotion beginning to overwhelm you, try and observe it, stand back from it, and not judge it. Just let it drift by, and see it for what it is: a bad memory of something that is no longer part of your life, and that no longer need be part of you."
I admit that I don't fully understand how to do this yet, but I am trying.
