My brother has a girlfriend, and she's my friend.
My brother is 190 cm tall, and his girlfriend is about 160 cm tall. When she sits on his lap, some people might think that it looks odd.
Well, these girls from my school decided to take a picture of them and then have two of them mimicking them in the background (without their consent, obviously.) They then proceeded to post it on Facebook, where they called it the "best picture ever". I come in daily contact with the girls at school every day (I have classes with two of them), and I'm, needless to say, livid, due to their behavior. I know that that's what they would want, but I can't help it. He's my brother.
Anyways, what do you think I should do? Should I say anything to the girls, come school?

Whether or not those girls' intent was malicious, I would suggest only talking to your brother about being careful about letting others take pcitures of him and his girlfriend. Those girls at you school are not likely to change away from just continuing to do as they please.

The picture was not with their consent whatsoever. It was taken from about 20 feet away.

I am certain that their intent was malicious. I've spent enough time around them to know that all they care about is gossip and humiliating other people.
I like to think that mean girls only grow up to be mean women, and mean women are never capable of doing anything productive with their lives. I'm just uncomfortable with the situation because a good friend of mine sent me the picture, and I wouldn't have seen it otherwise. I'm not at all upset with her, for she did it with good intentions, but in these types of situations, I do believe that ignorance is bliss.
However, my love for my brother and his girlfriend trumps their immature behavior by 100%.

I think in that specific case, you should forgot about it and ignore them (actively if you still want to pass the message "you are pathetic"). Of course you could be evil and cut the picture with only their scene and title it "See? Boyfriend Ersatz!", but if you think of the situation in deep, you will realize there is no point to retaliate.

at 14 your brain is in bad crazy overdrive with hormonal changes. take it easy pal.

louie the wonder dog has a facebook page...dan the human does not. potential for abuse is just too omnipresent.

in america....recently there have been many suicides by teen-agers over being bullied on facebook.

you are providing these girls just what they want. as hard as it is to accept, ignoring them makes it go away. keep getting angry, you invite additional crap to come your way. honest. that's the way the world works. it sucks, i know.

I know, my brain is still not fully developed despite my feeling that it is. I never think of myself as an adolescent, but I guess I should, seeing as it's the truth!! !
I was still mad when I began this thread; I'm pretty calm now. I'm just going to drop it and not stoop down to their level. They're immature.
