i don't understand why people post on here and then when someone has a differing opinion they're automatically being naive and childish.
just because i'm 20 it doesn't make my opinion invalid.
then again; my opinion has always been invalid - to everyone.
so i'm not sure why i'm surprised.

OK!! i apologise. that's not even what i meant by the way, i didn't say your "opinion"about my sex life is invalid, i just meant basically you cannot compare the experience of someone full of excitement at this new awesome thing , and the experience someone who has been ( happily) married for some time and does not feel a constant rush of arousal when seeing their partner naked! i also invalidated you as you put it because i felt insulted that you inferred that because SOMETIMES i'm not totally into it, it must mean that my sex life is constantly boring. so i'm sorry i made you feel this way, i mean it, i thought basically you were trying to annoy me on purpose so i might have overreacted.

Why? Because I can't be bothered to have to explain myself to you anymore?
I'm sorry, but i have other worries than if you believe me or whatever.
please, just leave it and we needn't talk again, no problem, no hassle- problem solved.

You seem to be a bit defensive.
I've found in the past that being that way provokes antagonism.

We have autism.

Our ideas are more important to us than most people's ideas are.
We are more sensitive than most people, so it is easier to hurt our feelings through disagreement.
We are less able to give and understand the sorts of social skills that make it easier for neurotypical to work past simple disagreements.
We are more prone than NTs to see things in "black and white" terms, so we tend to feel that people are our enemies because they have done one thing that offends or hurts our feelings.

Autism usually makes it more difficult for people to communicate with other people. We can learn to work around these issues, but we have to have compassion for ourselves when we fail.
