This is about my second near death experience, which happened tonight. (it is 2AM where I am, it Happened around 9PM Where I am)

I was with some friends celebrating a birthday. and we went to a public park to mess around. We drove there. We went to the playground and saw a man on a bench. I thought nothing about it so we went to the playground.
We all had pop earlier so we had to urinate. As I was peeing against a tree I could smell Marijuana. I turn around and there was the same man. He had walked by us and was now standing right in front of me. I saw his face and he had a strange smile. I turned and ran as fast as I could away from him, I didn't have time to zip my pants up. As I ran away I could hear someone yell "knife". I looked back and saw was no longer chasing me but my friend. I ran to the car and unlocked it for my friends to get in. As soon as we were all we drove away.

I talked to them as we were driving. Apparently he had a really big knife. About a foot long. I didn't see it myself but my friends did. My friend who was being chased by the man after me had to jump into a bush to get way. that is what my friend said.

What scared me the most is that I almost got stabbed. I almost got stabbed because I almost talked to the guy. Because I know people that have done drugs which were good people. But this man was not a good person. I almost made a bad decision.

I sincerely hope I did not scare anyone by posting this. I simply need an outlet.

I hope that you're feeling better, soon. Do you have a counselor that you can share this with as well, or a trusted relative? Thank you for shareing this with us. Maybe you can sleep with a night light for a while. They make some pretty cool ones for adults these days. Sid hugs :O)

some cold comfort here- if you learned self-defense techniques such as a martial art of some kind, you would have been able to hold your ground and avoid the terror. in the absense of packing heat of some kind [pistol or taser] your flying fists will have to defend you against danger no matter where you go. not even police stations are safe, what with the recent detroit [michigan] police station assault fresh in the news. there is no 100% safe place, so you will have to be vigilant everywhere, and/or prepared to defend yourself at a moment's notice. or you could do as i do, and hole up.
