Every year from February 15th to April 27th I get extremely depressed.

You see, I had a sister that only lived for two and a half months. She was born and she died in 1991. She would have been twenty this year.

And she isn't here. I wish it were me. She would have made a better kid.

I'm sorry. It's not good to think like that though. I had a sister, who lived only a few days, who was born two years before I was. I've always felt guilty that I was born, and she wasn't. I've had to come to realize that feeling this way won't solve anything. You can't know how that child would have ended up. You can't know how life would have taken you and her, you can only live your life the best as you can.

Think of all the good that would be if she was still alive. I wouldn't be here, I probably wouldn't have AS. My world would still exist, and I would be extremely successful.

I hope you feel better soon. I enjoy having you around.

I'll always wonder who my brother Michael would have been. What he would have done, how he would have shaped my family. He was stillborn 15 years before I was born, and all I'll ever know of him is the faceless ghost I'm here because of. But still I am here, as I am - ditto to what Shades said.

She has no one to take care of her gravestone. No one to put flowers there. This is why I hate living so goddamned far away. I would go, but I cannot travel 1000 miles. My father lives in upstate New York. He was the one who would put flowers up there.
