Wounded Iraq vet's friends don't stick by him

I saw this thing on TV where this soldier comes home from the war with problems walking, speaking, and seeing. His wife has to translate for him because his speech is all messed up. His wife says he's lost a lot of friends because of lack of ability. When I heard this I wanted to kick the TV through the wall. How shallow and selfish can people be.

When I was 19, I lost all my friends because I had a baby. People can be shallow, selfish losers.

He's better off with them gone. They were sh*t friends. I just feel sorry for him and his wife not having quality people in their lives for all those years before this happened.

That's pretty messed up.
