I've been fearing jewelry for as long as I can remember. I am also diagnosed with Asperger's.

Does anyone think this could be linked? I'm thinking this could be possible b/c I don't like soft touches either.

What is it exactly that you imagine jewelry is going to do to you?

Eat you?

Give you an allergic rash?

Or what?

Just curious.

Its a phobia I have never heard of before.

It wouldn't be a phobia if it were rational.

It's really the look, sound, and non-weight of the things. Rings, bracelets, earrings, anything that weighs so little and is blinky and shiny. They give me the creeps.

Could just be rational of course.
