She is everything to me. We have so, so much in common. She used to send me texts like 'Haha, my mum keeps looking at me suspiciously whenever I go downstairs because I'm genuinely smiling. I miss feeling like this.

You're an amazing person. I wish I met you earlier.

Xxxxxx'
Now she says she never wants to see me again and wants to forget about me.
I love her.
I acknowledge you have very strong feelings for this girl, and I'm very sorry things did not work out between you two. Teenage relationships usually don't last long. Most people go through a few breakups before they find that special someone.
I don't mean to minimize your feelings but I'm not sure what you are feeling is love. Young people are far more likely to feel lust. The difference between lust and love is a bit like the difference between cubic zirconia and a diamond. Cubic zirconia has a lot more sparkle. They're synthetic, so they are flawless, but they're not as hard as diamonds and don't hold up to the elements as well. Diamonds, on the other hand, don't sparkle quite as much. They are smaller and less dazzling, some are too small to see, and they often have flaws, but they endure a lot more.
I'm sure you will find someone in the future, who you are happy with and who is happy with you. She won't necessarily be someone who you have a lot of things in common with. Having a lot in common with someone doesn't always mean you two would make good partners. It's not an issue of quantity. Rather there are certain things that it's important to have in common with someone for a relationship to work and they usually pertain more to lifestyle and philosophies.
Love is not necessarily an intense emotion.
