I'm sick of so many people shoving their f*****g happiness in my face. Why can't I have friends like them, and why can't I go out to places without people staring or laughing at me. Why can't I be happy and have fun. Why the f**k have I spent the better part of my life suicidal, alone, and severely depressed and other folks are able to make friends and date like it comes naturally.

I have spent the last few years locked in my house because I'm afraid of people making fun of me! It's unfair and I shouldn't have to go through this s**t while other people are out having good times and enjoying life.

I deserve to be happy.

Yes you do, as do we all. But I learned that with your lack of skills with friends, if you thus find your calling you are golden. If you find a thing to love it will fill that hole. It's what I've done with music and it's the only thing I know to say besides I'm sorry.

I hear you. I rarely leave the house either, even sometimes my family is intolerable. I want to be happy for them because they've found happiness but really deep down I am sort of jealous that they get to be normal and do so many things in their lives while I'm stuck with a lifelong diagnosis that makes the future seem not only uncertain but pointless.

I know what your saying, I'm extremely self conscious about my looks. I feel like since I look the way I do people automatically think I'm an idiot which is true but I still don't like that feeling.

That kind of social life is way overrated. Why should I waste my time trying to impress a bunch of vacuous, brain-dead morons?

You find that the less you care about what other people think the more they want to know you. If you can ever get to the point that you can "blow them off" they'll start believing you're interesting. It's ironic, but it's true.

I understand all too well how you feel. Welcome to the club. There is no winning in life for us. The best we can do is to minimize the pain and losses.

Everyone deserves to be happy even us! I feel happy, but I got off facebook because I was sick of seeing all my NT friends (who I don`t even wanna hang out with) having friends, and always hanging out with their friends, and going out! I got jealous and couldn`t stand knowing that IDK when that will ever be me! They probably all think I`m pathetic because they grew up, some are married with kids, have jobs, went to collage, moved out and date now. I did NONE of that! I`m like 10 years or more behind than they are! I honestly like to leave the house but due to my fear of cars I hardly leave the house! Sometimes I get in the car because I have to but it is the most sickening feeling to have to get in the car!

I dislike most people as well, but not for the same reasons.

I dislike people for their inherent flaws, I dislike them for the fact that there is always an ignorant, shallow, cruel and insensitive trait to people.

But just cuz its hard for me to tolerate, I know even those people have good in them and that the good in some cases outweighs the bad. I just choose to deal with it as infrequently as possible. With a couple of exceptions..

You DO deserve to be happy.

If you feel you deserve to be happy you must also realize there might be something about you thats awesome enough to feel you deserve that.

I don't necessarily hate most people, I just don't get on with them.

Why is this? I would not tolerate people doing this to me. Maybe it would be a good idea to start standing up to them, it might help with your confidence.

If you could find people who understand and appreciate you then I reckon you could make friends with them as easily as everyone else does with others.
