I understand completely. While I've never developed the physical addiction(or maybe all this sweating is not due to summer, but to lack of oxies), the mental addiction is there.
I've been buying, crushing, and snorting oxycodone for a year. I could have had a new car and computer with the money I made from work. Maybe a new bass violin, and a PS3 to boot. But it all went up my nose, since I use at least once a week.
With oxies, I can have a cheerful conversation with my parents, whom I normally can't stand. Tasks don't seem as overwhelming to me, and even the itch and post-nasal drip that come with snorting them feels and tastes good.
I contemplated running off with my boyfriend, who is against my drug use, to his area, where I wouldn't know ANY stoners, but decided not to at this point.
As I'm sure you know, getting off them isn't just some simple matter of willpower. If everything came to that, we wouldn't be posting here about our social and sensory troubles. I can't tell you anything wise, but I'm willing to listen to someone's advice if they have it.
