anyone understand this? I think i'm a little insane here...
well, has anyone else ever felt like they'd be happier if they could live in their own world?
what I mean is... I feel like I have to live in at least two different worlds at a time.
basicly i've got the real world on one side, and my dream world on another... not to mention several sick twisted versions of that dream world... some of which i'm not proud of at all.
i'll just put this as simple as i can...
1. I really hate liveing in the real world.
2. I'm much happier when I get so much into my dream world that it feels as real as being awake.
3. but then as I live in that dream world... sometimes it gets really... freakish... then I feel really bad about it.
4. this happens more often when i'm already very depressed.
Normally my dream world is peacefull and filled with freinds... so it's really not meant to get so... wrong... and yet I never really know what will happen. lately it's been getting out of hand... by that I mean some seriously sick things have happen these past few days in my dream world... I almost abandoned the best friend I have from my dream world... but I think all this madness has been becuase I'm feeling very alone,
I'm at a point where if I have to continue living in the real world without someone who truely loves me (like a girlfriend) i'll lose what little sanity I have left, could anyone relate to this sort of thing?
I don't know what to do anymore... there isn't even anyplace to go in this town where i can meet people.
along with that I really hate myself for the sick thoughts my brain comes up with... but I really feel that could all go away if I didn't have to be so lonly all the time... I need someone to spend good quality time with, and share a relationship. someone should understand i'm not really a bad guy... but I feel like it alot lately... I'm just going completly insane... please help me!

Don't feel bad about living in a fantasy world. The modern world is more about "doers" rather than "dreamers". So many people have lost the ability to use their imaginations due to being spoiled by video games and social media. But those of us who are still able to tap into our rich inner worlds posess a very special gift which should not be given up or taken for granted. It doesn't matter if the content of your inner world is not socially acceptable. What matters is that it makes you happy. Remember this: real people will always let you down in one way or another. But although the people in your imaginary world can never truly reciprocate your feelings, at least they can never hurt you, betray you or leave you unless you will them to do so.
Thanks for the help, unfortunatly I found myself crying for several minutes not so long ago when I was trying to sleep.
I recently took notice to how I always hold a pillow close at night... I think it's becuase i'm lonely and feel a need to hold something?
I'm not sure what to think about it. but perhaps if there was someone close to me, maybe I wouldn't get that depressed.
anyway... I don't really think that the people in my dream world are always being controlled by me... sometimes, they seem so real and well, as if they have their own will. strangest thing, I haven't interacted in anyway if most of them... just one or two recently.
somehow i'm always going threw various emotional type events along with my imaginary girlfriend and her daughter. I don't know how it all started but I did create them with my mind... altough i wonder if it's possible that I wanted them to be real so much that they sometimes act as though I'm not the one who controls their every thought?
I've confused myself...
I really don't want to cry every night... if I could find a real person who was anything like her...
I just hate myself, becuase I've known for a long time no girl will ever love me. I guess that's why I have Lola, she'll be with me as long as I have my imagination, everyone needs somebody, right? just too bad she's only an imaginary friend, rather than a real live human being...
