Why do I get so angry for no real reason?

A moment ago I caught myself getting really angry over a slight misunderstanding, and once I realized it was a misunderstanding I felt great again, but the fact I constantly have moments where I get almost in a murderous rage over really stupid stuff disturbs me. What's bad is that I've gotten so good at hiding my anger when I get like that because I'm afraid of huting people with it but I end up hurting myself by biting myself on the finger or clawing my arm. I'm kind of afraid of myself sometimes because I fear that some day I will completely loose control and do something I will regret that will possibly end up putting me in jail.

I know I have anger problems but I don't really know what to do about them except try to hide them which only seems to make things worse. Does anybody who's been through what I've been through know what to do about this?

A person with Aspergers/Autism is prone to anger and violence due their lack of impulse control. A person with Aspergers has the brain of a child. A child lacks impulse control and is prone to anger, tantrums and violence when he/she does not get what they want.
The brain of a person with Aspergers/Autism does not fully develop. Aspergers/Autism stunts brain development.

Oops my Autism/Aspergers made me do it again.

If you're interrupted during your special interest, it can be a cause to your irritation. As said above, Aspies feel easily irritated.

Troll much?

Anger has little to do with impulse control. It can eat away at you internally even when you aren't doing anything to act on it. The more rational explanation is that people with aspergers/autism often experience stress and anxiety internally on an order of magnitude greater scale than others.

Wow, to be honest until now I didn't even know that anger and irritability were a part of Autism, I thought the only thing it effected was your social skills. I just assumed my anger spells were because of something else.

I still feel bad that I get so easily angered, but at the same time I'm glad I'm not the kind of person to take it out on others in a violent way. I would rather endure self-harm than hurt somebody I actually cared about.

I get angry very fast but you have to make me FURIOUS if you want to notice it. McDD is for a big part regulating your emotions.

But from my understanding its also a part of autism so its nothing to worry about! Although you could always find new ways to handle it.
