I keep feeling literally alone
I don't mean alone as in an unsociable way. For the last 2 days I've been feeling alone in a similar way to how alone one would feel if they were in an abandoned moore that sretched on for miles. It's that sort of lonely. I've been feeling like I'm the only person left in the world, and it makes me feel really scared, making me want to keep looking over my shoulder all the time. It's more like a supernatural phobia I've suddenly developed. The last 2 days have felt neither here nor there, even though nothing in my life has changed. Maybe it's a seasonal depression coming out in a strange way. But it might be because I heard a true story of a girl who saw the devil sitting at the bottom of her bed one night in a really big, old house, and she also described it's appearence, which freaked me out then, and now I think it has just spooked me out for a few days.
Does anyone else get this? Will I get over these spooked feelings? They're making me feel frightened of being alone, and they're making me feel alone.

That definitely isn't a true story. If the devil would want to spook people out (that's far from his job description btw.) it would appear all over the place.
I think I get what you're saying. I've felt like this for some time now. I try to make close friends to get myself out of it but I feel like all the people I try getting close to end up seeming "foreign", and the whole friendship somewhat "forced".
Couldn't know what advice to give, sorry.
I sometimes get a nightmare where I'm not the last person on earth, but I'm last one left out of everyone I know. Then I anxiously make myself socialize in real life, but I can't shake that "anywhere but here" feeling. Interactions feel forced, yes, but I guess we have to start somewhere.

I think the story did really freak you out and somehow you've 'removed' yourself. Not literally. It's like de-sensitising yourself. I think it is a way of blocking out feelings or sensations, and fear is both a feeling and feelings create bodily sensations. Maybe removing yourself is a way of avoiding all that feeling that is still there within you. Sometimes we can go 'cold' like that. Again, not literally, it's like a deadenning of the senses, a withdrawal, to a safer place.
I think it's good to acknowledge your fear and reason it out, and you will see it is an unrealisitic fear.
Only what I call good fear is when some situation is a call to action and is based in reality, and that fear usually goes away once the situation is getting sorted or has been resolved.
But if your mind and feelings won't listen then I recommened playing with imagination. If one can imagine a devil can appear, one can also imagine an angel can appear! It's a way of satisfying the unconscious mind when it won't shut up and is being illogical! It's only play
If these ideas are helpful or not let us know!

i can kind of relate for the past few days i have been feeling alone, numb, and empty when my friends hug me, it used to fill me with warmth, but lately they have felt cold i have been becoming really withdrawn lately and thinking bizarre thoughts i was walking home from school today and nearly walked into a car driving past, just because i was wondering what would happen, i don't have thoughts like that and its been scaring me

I used to be paranoid of the supernatural, but now I'm not nearly as afraid. I still believe in spirits, but now I believe that almost all spirits are good and the percentage of spirits that want to harm you is very small, probably only like 2% of the total spirit population. Only a very small percentage of those 2% of spirits that want to harm you are powerful enough to transmutate themselves and/or perform psychokinesis. Trust that the good spirits will protect you from the bad ones. Hardly anyone ever has to deal with the spirits that want to harm them.
I sometimes feel kind of scared when I'm stuck in a bad situation that I have to deal with by myself without the assistance of anyone else, but I always manage to find solutions to my problems. I believe that a lot of the time spirits help me through my struggles, prevent bad things from happening to me, and lift my mood when I'm feeling down. I never really get lonely, but I sometimes wish that I had more of a social life because it seems like it might be more fun. I don't think it'd really be any better than being isolated, but it always seems like the grass is always greener on the other side. I still manage to have fun and enjoy my life though. I guess I'm satisfied with my life for the most part and would only like to make a few changes.
