I don't know if I'm an Aspie (but I'm pretty sure I'm on the spectrum) - my house is a mess most of the time (because I get lost in doing something else that I wanna do)....but when I clean, I get down on my hands and knees and do it perfectly.

I like my house better when it's clean.

I'm a very neat and tidy person, I like everything to look immaculate or perfect otherwise I feel a sense of distress. I don't know why to be honest, I even put my clothes and items in sections.

I am a mix of both when im engrossed in doing something my house just keep gathering clutter.
but when i set out to clean everything is neat and well cleaned
even i arrange clothes section wise
the party outfits in one section the work clothes in other the house clothes in another section
undies in next section so on and forth

but i hate cleaning the kitchen platform though
and hate cooking too

Honestly, from what I've seen, anything but.

I'm exactly the same with clothes, I tend to keep them arranged but I think that's just because I don't like it when things are unorganized, I usually find cooking to be fun though but that's because I like nutrition and eating healthy. I thought being tidy related to AS but after being on here and hearing about some people on the spectrum being untidy, I don't know really, I guess it just depends on upbringing or personal preference.

depressed people usually tend to keep house untidy
earlier when i went through the phase of depression i did not keep the house clean
and would find it difficult to do the chores
even i would forget to buy household ration

when the depression eventually started decreasing my house got cleaner

I'm really bad when it comes to cleaning, but it is something I have been working on. I am taking it one task at a time. Getting into the routine for a week, then adding something else to it. I now sweep the floors twice daily (I have siberian huskies.. hair hair hair), and dust every other day. Time to break the habit of letting my clothes drop where I take them off at.
